Perfect little get away with the family!

This was a perfect spot for our family. Very convenient for travel and a great space to hang out.We were out here for a funeral and it was a nice hub to come back to after everything.

Family trip to DC

Great stay!

Mark was easy to communicate with, the location was great - easy to walk into the heart of del ray, with lots to do, and easy to get to tourism stuff in DC as well. Dedicated parking was great. The property was so cute.

Girls weekend

Nice that it had 6 rooms with either queen or full size beds. Not always easy to find that for adult trips that don't want to have bunk beds. Good location. Host was very helpful and accessible. Older home, but good value.

Great home, great location!

Our host Mark was wonderful- very attentive and informative! The house is fully stocked with amenities and beds are very comfortable. Lots of restaurants and things to do within walking distance and a quick drive or Uber to Old Town! Highly recommend!

Sister's Get Away

We had 6 sisters staying for the weekend and everything was great. Each of us had our own bedroom but two people can easily stay in each room. Beds were comfy. I would suggest bringing slippers if you need to wear shoes because there is a no shoe rule in the house. Very pretty walkable neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent stay

The communication prior to arrival was prompt and accurate so check in was super smooth. The place was as pictured, clean and very well stocked. It was easy to get in and out of DC and walking from the metro took us right by Giant foods grocery store which was very convenient. The neighborhood itself was very pleasant with several great restaurants and shops and nicely kept properties

Excellent Host -- great location

Our family spent 5 days here when we came to bury my husband at ANC. It was conveniently located in a good neighborhood. The unit was very nicely equipped. The beds were soooo comfortable! We will definitely look for this property when we return to the area.

I was visiting the Alexandria area for my best friends bachelorette and we could not have found a better place to stay. The location was perfect. The house was clean and spacious and Mark was so kind and generous and easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to the DC area

Cannot say enough good things about our stay. Everything was as pictured. The host was very communicative and helpful. Place was immaculately clean upon our arrival. Neighborhood was great with a safe, clean walk to the Potomac Yard metro station. Big thanks to Mark. Highly recommend!

Great for a group

We were in town for a graduation and Mark's place fit the bill perfectly. Lots of room for the 8 of us, and guests who came for dinner. Turns out the home is 10 minutes from both our daughters' homes. Perfect!

Stress-free family “reunion”

5 bedrooms with big, comfortable beds is hard to find when we travel as a family. We not only got that but very comfortable, nicely furnished common areas and a well-equipped kitchen. This was a great choice for a wedding that brought 3 generations and multiple adult couples together. Mark has set up a great coffee bar and all the other things that you want when traveling, and he’s a good communicator numerous restaurants and stores in walking distance.

Very Clean and Convenient location

The home was very clean and comfortable. The coffee bar was great! Groceries, restaurants and the Metro train all within a 20 min walk! And the owner was very available to us via text. We loved our visit! We would have appreciated a heads up to the no shoe rule more than 24 hours in advance as we drove and were already on the road, so we didn't have the opportunity to pack slippers. Also, the neighbors will call you out if the TV is too loud at 10:01pm, so be prepared. Other than those minor inconveniences we really enjoyed ourselves!

Great location!

Great family vacation. We walked to dinner in the neighborhood and walked the dogs to the park, and walked to the metro to take in the sites, museums, and even a caps game. Close to the airport and a huge shopping center. We recommend the District Biscuit company...very yummy and close by. The neighborhood is very dog friendly and theres a great park nearby for dmall children to play. The house is very quiet with plenty of room for the whole family.

Short stay in Alexandria

I think the location of this property and the size are great especially for the cost! Mark was great at communicating with us and reached out several times. However I think cleanliness is a slight issue. The bathroom did not appear to be cleaned. The bathroom trash was full, the toilet seat was a bit dirty and the shower curtain needed to be washed as well. There was also hair on the pillows and sheets of one of the main bedrooms. We still were able to enjoy our stay under these circumstances but it could use improvement!

Perfect Location for a Girls Trip

Had three college friends come to visit. We had some things we wanted to do in Arlington, Alexandria and the National Harbor area. We also thought we might go into DC, but didn't end up doing so. This home was the perfect location for all that we wanted to do. The landlord is friendly and helpful. The property is safe and well appointed. We had a wonderful stay and we all were sad to leave. Major plus - There are quite a few great restaurants within walking distance.

Great Location!

Nice home close to everything. We walked to a few restaurants which was convenient and very convenient to DC sightseeing. We were only there for two nights then headed to MD to see family. Our stay was good. The coffee selection (& Setup) was awesome, nice touch Mark. We spent most of the time outside the house in DC but when we got back, we were comfortable. We only used four of the five bedrooms. Just to note, two bedrooms are downstairs. Mark was great to communicate with. Thanks for ths stay Mark!
