The main bedroom boasts a queen-size bed and generous closet space, while the trundle bedroom offers additional sleeping accommodations for two people on twin-size beds. A dedicated bathroom completes the layout. Lastly, to boast even more convenience, there is an in-unit washer and dryer, and we can give you a parking permit for easy street parking. (let us know in advance!)

Just a 12-minute walk from Union Station, you'll have access to the city's robust public transportation network, including the Metro subway system. Explore the charming tree-lined streets, grab a bite at one of the nearby restaurants, or stock up on groceries at the nearby Whole Foods, just a 4-minute walk away.

Guest Access:
You will have fully private access to the entire 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom garden level English basement apartment. Guests can enjoy the convenience of the free street parking with a parking pass we can provide to you. (please let us know in advance if you will be needing one!)

The Neighborhood:
Capitol Hill is a lovely neighborhood complete with parks, restaurants, local shop & more. Just minutes to the downtown museums and monuments and National Mall. Bus stops just 1.5 blocks away and Union Station (Amtrak/Marc /Metro) just about 4.5 blocks away. You could spend days just touring Capitol Hill and the H Street Corridor as well as the downtown attractions.

Getting Around:
METRO: Walk to Union Station (12 minute walk)

GROCERY STORES: Whole Foods is a 4 minute walk away, just 1.5 blocks! Giant Foods is just 6 minutes walking.

CAR/BIKE: We are also a very Uber and Lyft-friendly city. In addition to rentable scooters we have several DC Bikeshare depots in the neighborhood.

PARKING: If you'll be driving, we can provide you with a visitor parking permit at no additional charge.

Other Things to Note:
The host lives above with their family so you may hear them from time to time. Though they will try to keep noise to a minimum, if you need absolute silence, this may not be the best fit for you.

If you need a parking permit, we will need your vehicle information. Please let us know if you will need one.
