"Hotel was updated clean and new staff was very nice and suggested things to do in Beaver Dam area My only problem was that the pool area was so strong of chlorine smell that I couldn’t participate in swimming with my grandson because it affected my breathing , with that being said I feel that an exhaust system should be installed to make the pool area safer ! We come to beaver dam to visit our grandson and I might have to rethink staying at Comfort inn because I enjoy swimming with my grandson and because of this issue I can’t . "Yes to both questions. The only thing is the toilet is very low. Should be higher for older people otherwise everything was great. We really liked the Kerig coffee maker in our room "

"The property overall was fairly good, needed some cosmetic work, molding coming off on the furniture in the bedroom. Other than that, the room was very nice. However, we stayed there because of the pool and hot tub and both were in inadequate shape. My adult children and their children tried to swim, but it was somewhat slimy and you could clearly see mold on both the hot tub and the pool. I did talk to the person behind the desk and they said they were having a part come in to fix the situation. Hopefully that is accurate. I’m a positive note. The breakfast was wonderful and overall had a good stay."
