"If you are looking for fancy, you will be disappointed. However if you are looking for a comfortable stay, good food and something a little out of the ordinary, here it is. We were there in summer, loved the house, the rooms were comfortable. Really enjoyed the tavern! Great people, good food and drinks. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding!"

"After 35 years of vacations for my husband and I, this was our first vacation not camping. We couldn't have more pleased with the Buck Rub cabin. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was the most relaxing vacation that we have ever had. The host was a hop skip and a jump from the cabins. The cabin was fully equipped with everything you would need. We ever had 3 female juvenile hummingbirds for our stay.Hour drive to the places in and around Burlington. As well as supermarkets and restaurants near by. We have re-booked for next year for 2 weeks. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation."

"This little guest house was perfect for our needs! It is clean and has fun rustic features like oil lamps that have been converted to electric lights. It was just enough space for my partner and I to be cozy. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pans if you want to cook. The house is close to the rail trail and we went for a nice walk. It's a quiet area, but a busy road in between Johnson and Cambridge. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This was my second visit to Black Creek Maple and I loved it just as much! Great place to stay in the area. Reasonable drive to many locations and right on the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail for cycling enthusiasts. The cabins are cozy and comfortable and the property is absolutely beautiful. Cannot recommend highly enough!"

"Easy Check in/ check out. The home had everything we needed (loved the gas stove). Skied both Stowe and Jay during our stay. Great central spot for both. Would definitely come back! "

"This is the second year a group of seven stayed at the Mansfield House. A large place, fully furnished with two kitchens and plenty of space for everyone to socialize. WE will be coming back again as the location is a great base camp to ski Stowe, Sugarbush, Jay Peak and Smuggler's Notch."
