quick family getaway

This is a lovely property. I is clean, spacious and perfectly located. Views of lake are stunning and a walk to most of Watkins Glen including the state park. We would stay here again!

Beautiful Location!

Great location, great kitchen! Everything you need for a rental. Every room has a lake view Plenty of dishes, bowls, pans to cook Fire pit area and chairs are special! Great to sit around and drink your wine or whatever!

Beautiful townhouse with awesome view of lake! And great location to walk into town (2 minutes), State Park (5-6 minutes) & access to all the lakes have to offer! Would definitely stay here again. Host was always very responsive!

This is our third time staying at this property and again it was perfect. From the booking, communication with owners down to the cleanliness everything was perfect.. Would highly recommend this property and any these owners are renting out.

Great Location!

This is an ideal spot for a weekend getaway to the Finger Lakes. The home was comfortable, clean, and centrally located. Not to mention the gorgeous views from every room! Our hosts were welcoming and full of great suggestions. Steps from the marina, charming restaurants and cozy shops. This was a lovely base for our wine-tasting weekend.

The perfect getaway

We stayed here for three nights. The property is very nice, and within walking distance of so many different restaurants and shops. As others have stated, it would not be friendly to people that cannot do stairs. We would love to stay here again!

Beautiful View Condo

Comfortable, clean, up to date Condo on the Water at the Marina in Watkins Glen. The condo was well stocked for our needs. The bedding and mattresses are comparable to that of a 5 star hotel. Easy walk to the center of town and restaurants as well as to the entrance of Watkins Glen State park. The owners were quick to respond to the few question we had before our arrival. Highly recommended place to stay.

Brewers Perch Perfect!

My friends and I stayed for 4 nights at this condo, it was perfect; you can walk to town and we enjoyed the Fire and Ice festival, especially watching the fireworks from the balcony. I will say the stairs are a work out for us "classic" ladies (65) but we did manage and I suspect we could use the work out. Very clean and updated. We will be back!

Great location

Nice location overlooking lake, walking distance to downtown, easy access to highways. Beds and pillows were good, showers nice, kitchen great. Clean and a good size. 35 stairs to kitchen and living room. They need better couches and chairs, they were just not comfortable at all.

Perfection!!

The house was beautiful and super clean! Plenty of space for our group of 6. So convenient to walk to shops, restaurants, bars, water sports. The common area sat on the lake edge with adirondack chairs, dining tables and a propane fire pit. Daniel even came out to turn on the fire place for us and came out late night to turn it off. Communication was great and we would definitely stay again!!

Such a nice time

This is a lovely property with great views of the southern end of Seneca Lake. Awesome sunrises. Easy walking access to Watkins Glen. The hosts were wonderful, even stopped by with a lantern the night the power was out. So much appreciated. One word of caution - there are lots of steps since there are 3 levels above the entry/garage level. Otherwise, everything was excellent!

Just Lovely

This is kind of tricky to find, but what a good location. You can walk to most everything in downtown Watkins Glen. It’s right on the train tracks but only had 1-2 come by although it was kind of early in the morning. Everything was just as it should be and I appreciated getting to use a garage.

Perfect spot

It was ladies only weekend. This was the perfect spot to access downtown & catch the trolley for some wine tasting. The space is beautiful & spacious. The view of the lake is gorgeous. Our only (slight) complaint was the stairs. There are three flights, so you get a workout in. It definitely wouldn’t deter us to rent it again though.

Lovely Condo

We rented this for a girls trip. This condo was lovely with beautiful views. The beds were absolutely comfortable. There are a lot of steps to get from the ground floor to the living space, so if you have trouble with steps I would not recommend this condo. But if you want beautiful views and a relaxing space this is the place to rent. It is located so you can walk almost anywhere you want to go in Watkins Glenn. I would rent again.

The good and the not so good news 6/24 - 6/27

We booked a stay based on the pictures and descriptions provided. Here’s what we found:Good news - great location at the marina. Easy walking into town. Unit was clean and had lake views.The not so good news:1.) The unit is built directly on the road going into/out of town. You step out of the main living area door directly onto the sidewalk next to the road. There is absolutely no sound proofing in the walls and windows allowing in all the traffic noise. Spending time on the balcony was useless as the traffic noise disrupted any peacefulness that may have occurred while overlooking the lake. Trying to sleep in was futile as the garbage trucks and tractor trailers started going by around 5:00 am. 2.) The unit consists of four levels. The garage/entry level, the bedroom level, the kitchen/living room level and the loft level. Each level is accessed via flights of steps - like, a lot of steps! This is an issue if you have mobility problems or are older.3.) Cooling the unit is a challenge. We arrived on a completely blistering day. Trying to make the living area and bedroom loft areas comfortable at all, resulted in the bedrooms on the floor below being absolutely frigid. 4.) The kitchen was not stocked with all items you might expect. As examples, there were not a complete set of silverware beyond two, any spatulas or cutting boards.5.) The parking area for the units in that group is very tight. Could be an issue if you have a large truck or oversized SUV.
