"Very great place to stay with friends and family or even a solo get away. It’s in the heart of downtown Ellicotville, walkable distance to shops, restaurants, and much more. The apartment itself was very clean and the pictures matched exactly to the in person experience. Loved spending the nights on the balcony enjoying the fresh air. Close enough to feel apart of the downtown vibe without being direct in line with the main foot traffic. If I ever find myself in the area again this on the top of my list of places to stay and would recommend it to everyone else in the area."

"Stayed all of March and loved it. Holiday Valley and Holimont are both a short drive away, and the village is right outside your door for everyone else. The house is warm and inviting — after a day on the slopes or in town, it's a great place to come back to. Highly recommend."

"The location and designated parking at this property are second to none! The amenities are suitable for two couples or for a family with a few kids. It is a very short walking distance to literally everything in town. Check in and check out were super easy. Communication with the property owner through VRBO app was also simple. Could there be a few things updated? Yes. Were any of them deal breakers? Not in the least. And...the price was right. We will stay at the Straus Haus again for sure!"
