Great spot to enjoy the beach on the 4th of July

Everythinv was geat clean and comfy. Only thing needs is more silverware and knives.

Pajaro happy

Views from front room and deck are amazing. Deck could use small table for drinks. Could not get bedroom tv to work. Overall it could use a bit of TLC". Sunsets and walks on the beaches. Give us more of those sunsets!!!

Great price.... poorly stocked

This property was substantially less than others in the development. Fortunately, I read reviews and knew to bring everything. There are only a few hangers, which we did not bring, so that was an issue. Only a few drinking glasses, but plenty of mugs so that was fine. The internet was a huge issue, but management was very responsive and sent their guy quickly several times each day. The weak connection is not their fault, but it was a royal pain. Check to make sure it was fixed before booking. We got a free night compliments of the staff, so it was totally worth it. Again, worth it for the money.

Go for the location

This is our second stay at this resort and our first stay in this unit. I mean, look… The ratings are what they are. Take heed. Be prepared for some compromises. I read over everything and chose to book anyway. Am I sorry we did? Absolutely not. We had a wonderful time. Would I book this specific unit again? Well… maybe if there was no other option. And listen, don’t get me wrong. This is a gorgeous resort in a gorgeous location and we already knew we’d like it because we’ve stayed here before and the resort amenities make everything worth it. Proximity to all the attractions for half the price of what you’d pay on Santa Cruz or Carmel or Monterey. And Watsonville is a charming little city all by itself! A lot of our stay we spent in town enjoying the little shops and the farmer’s market and all the local eateries. We will come back. Just probably not to this specific unit. I will say, though, we enjoy this property management group. We specifically sought them out because we knew the experience would be a positive one. They were receptive, responsive, and accommodated our needs to the best of their abilities. 10/10, would recommend to rent through the At The Dunes property manager.

Girls Weekend

The Unit was great for our girls weekend (5), the view is amazing and access to the beach all get 5 stars. Overall the unit is a bit dated and could use some detailed cleaning. We would rent at the Shorebirds again, but will probably look into other units.

Great View but kitchen needs help

The view is wonderful. The kitchen does not have enough wine glasses, silverware or large cooking pots. The kitchen also has terrible lighting and is really, really old, it is all original. The sink has a big chip in it. We had trouble adjusting the water in both showers too. There were plenty of towels. The balcony is bigger than it looks. The home has two new couches that were nice. We had a lovely time.

Location and that's all

What people have to understand about the condos at Pajaro Dunes is that it is all about the location. We have been going to Pajaro Dunes for over 30 years. We love the location. I know that most condos for the price are mediocre. Some are great. Some are not so great. This one is not so great. The couches are practically useless. We pulled dining chairs into the living room for more comfortable seating. A response to a previous review said that the couches were updated, but the photo had not been updated. As of this writing they were the same couches as in the photo. With stuffing coming out of the backs. The master bed was comfortable but not the others. The master shower door is quite short. The kitchen was poorly provisioned -- as are most condos at Pajaro Dunes. If I were the owner of this condo I would be embarrassed. We were beggars and couldn't be choosey because we made this trip as a last minute getaway. We had low expectations. We wanted the location, and we got that. Don't expect more than great location and you won't be disappointed

We have stayed at this property before. We were hoping things would've been updated but they weren't. To be specific,the door lock needs replaced, the second bedroom beds aren't comfortable, the television in the main bedroom is a tiny old television with a VCR built in. The living room furniture is not comfortable at all. I could go on but I think you get the picture. We love the resort and we loved the view but this place needs some serious updates. If this unit is brought up to date I would highly recommend it.

Location and view was amazing but the condo was dated and not cozy. The couches were so uncomfortable. There were no real wine glasses. They we set up for VHS. This place could use a major upgrade. View amazing but we won’t be staying here again.

It was great!

This unit was perfect for our family of 6. Walking distance from the ocean. Beautiful ocean view. The couches are really uncomfortable. And I also brought my own table to sit out on the balcony to enjoy our meals with a ocean view. Other than that this unit is great.

Great location, some interesting furniture choices

This is a great location for a beach getaway, and we loved the views we got from the living room and master bedroom. Very clean and all of the kitchen appliances worked just fine. Our only complaints were: Because of the layout, when sitting at the dining room table, you don't get any of the view. The living room couches (futons) were the very uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time. Other than these two things, we had a great stay and would certainly look at this location again for a future visit!

Great girls weekend!

We enjoyed our stay here! The view can't be beat. We loved waking up to the sound of waves. The short stroll down the walkway to the beach is perfect. We will be back!

Pajaro is so amazing

We always love to stay at the condos. This one just didn’t seem to meet our expectations. Just that the bedding, linens, furnishings and kitchen supplies are all in need of upgrading. Mind you the view and staff are all wonderful this unit just was kinda like staying at a 2 star room. We as always do appreciate the owners for sharing, but don’t think we would return to that unit. Blessings

Subpar Condo

We love Pajara Dunes. Have been going since 2017 with our daughters. The best thing is the ocean view! We stay in different condos every year. This condo as lacking in many ways. 1. Sofa bedS in living room were wooden and metal with a very thin pad. We used pillows to cushion our bums. 2. Microwave has a hot spot and burned our food. 3. Key needs lots of jiggling to unlock. 4. Kitchen cabinets would not close and had had tons of ant traps everywhere !!!!! 5. Bed mattresses were all very uncomfortable and should be replaced. 6. Bring you own 409 to clean the kitchen counters. There was no one! 7. Bring an extra roll of toilet paper. We ran out!

Absolute Heaven

Due to subpar conditions at a different rental, (which were absolutely nothing that management could have controlled), I was moved to this beautiful unit and I cannot express how elated I am that I was given this unit. It’s decorated perfectly, very cozy and comfortable- TONS of room, and it even smelled amazing walking into it! Justin (Pajaro Dunes mgmt) was a delight to work with, and he made my stay a once in a lifetime perfection. Please relay to the owners how impressed we were with the interior design! ♥️
