"We enjoyed our stay very much at Alena’s cottage! It is immaculately clean, just unbelievable! The outdoor sauna was well used. The house is very well stocked, the kitchen has everything you may need! It is only a couple of minutes drive to Lafontaine beach, right around the corner. The beach offers a playground for the kids plus portable bathrooms. The beach is lovely! The Tiny Treats European Deli has awesome pierogi, plus many other treats. Well worth a visit. "Me and my family had a great stay at this cottage. It was beautiful, spacious, clean, and had a great outdoor area for all 8 of us to enjoy + our dogs. Tons of space. Sandy and George we're so accommodating - always reaching out if we needed anything. They even took us for a boat ride on the lake one afternoon which was so nice of them. It is a beautiful lake and a great quiet spot on the lake too. You can't really walk into the water or swim off the dock as there is tons of seaweed and weeds....

Neighbour to the side were delights. They keep to themselves but are super- helpful, friendly and respectful when interacted with. "Had a wonderful time here and Pat was a fantastic host. The area is beautiful and the walks along the trails were perfect for us and our dog. The kitchen was excellent! Had everything we needed to prep the food we brought with us. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and comfortable. There are tons of games to play and an excellent stereo and massive television as well. The hot tub and sauna were a great bonus too. Would very much recommend a stay here! Thank you so much!"

"This was the perfect getaway for a young teen birthday celebration. The kids loved the layout and amenities of the unit - air hockey and pool table, several tv's for video games, etc.) The area has a great selection of activities (skiing, fishing, etc.) nearby as well as several restaurants and shopping options. We had some issues early in our stay, but the host was very responsive and helpful."

"The pictures do not do it justice, the cabin is perfect for a couple wanting to get away from it all. The owner went above and beyond to accomodate us and any questions we had during our stay, a real treat. The cabin was cute, cozy with a little gas fireplace, we were provided wifi for internet, access to a tv all set up with various channels, a BBQ outside on the porch, a beautiful bay with nobody around, a real treasure, we loved it so much and will certainly come back again."
