"We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was perfect for our group of 10 (4 adults and 6 kids, ages 1–10) and there was truly something for everyone. Between the lake, hot tub, air hockey, and foosball, the kids were never bored!The house was also so well stocked. They really thought of all the little things that make a family trip easier — floaties for the lake, everything we needed for s’mores, books and puzzles for the kids, and pretty much anything else we could have needed. We also rented the boat from the owners. It was clean, reliable, and made getting out on the lake even more fun.We had such a great time and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family getaway. We’re already hoping to come back next summer! Highly recommend, especially for families with kids!"

"The renovation on the home was exceptional esp. the bathrooms! The washer and dryer were of good quality and did get used every day They had multiple indoor and outdoor activities for kids which was great. The downstairs bunk room was fun for the little kids. We did find some spiders that we got rid of. The stairs leading to the second floor were quite noisy and was noticeable for those retiring early on the first floor bedroom and the loft sleeping area. We were a bit perplexed when entering the kitchen and there was a sign stating that we should wash and sanitize any dishes prior to using. The dishes were not kid friendly so we purchased paper products. Also a sign stating any odiferous foods such as Brussels sprouts and onions should not be cooked in the house had use wondering........ A suggestion would be to replace the cookware as items were just tossed into cupboards mix and match. I am an organizer and it was concerning. Also having as s'more forks would be nice. We found one in the cupboards. The lake is 5 feet deep - no problem for pontooning, tubing and jet skiing. The firepit and firewood were great.There was a raft available but we found that it was a landing pad for geese at night so every morning it was full of Goose Poop. Not certain why the birds did not use any of the other available rafts. The Bonds were receptive when we had any questions and responded in a timely fashion. We did make fun family memories and laugh about our own Poop Island."

"My family has been coming to this lake for 5 generations. Many of us have moved around the country, and don’t get back as often these days, but Silver Lake holds a special place for all of us. I started planning this vacation more than a year ago as a way to bring my favorite people and family together for my 40th birthday. I should preface that I’m not experienced with vacation rentals or AirBNB. Emily, the owner of this property was just lovely. She personally handled my booking and planning, helped answer all of my questions, and offered several special accommodations above and beyond the call of duty. When we showed up - she even had a bottle of wine, a 6pack of new glarus and flowers waiting with a card. The house has every amenity you could think of, and is nestled in a hill with the perfect view of the lake. You have access to a modern pontoon boat if you choose to rent it, as well as plenty of pier room to bring your own recreational water vehicles. The kids had a blast in the arcade room, and Emily stocked this property with more toys and activities than we could even remember to post here. And I have to say: with regards to rental properties ….I’d heard bad raps about tedious lists of responsibilities for guests upon checkout. This owner makes it so easy with a simple cleaning fee - reasonable for the size of this property, and all we needed to do was take out trash and start the dishwasher. It was the most relaxing and pleasant stay. My friends and family loved this trip, and we will book again in the future"
