"The room was clean and the man that checked me in was very nice. There were a few things that were worn/tattered but otherwise was good. No pets and didn’t have breakfast there but I was kindly informed about both. Would stay here again, as it was affordable and not dirty. "

"Liked how it was up on a hill, l didn't get any traffic noise. Tv didn't wanna work at first, so l had the manager come, & it only took a flick of a button on the TV. Excellent staff. Will be going back there on my next trip "
"We absolutely love staying at Up the Creek! This past weekend marked our fourth visit (I believe) just this summer, and it never disappoints. The cabins are right on the water, offering beautiful, peaceful scenery…perfect for a relaxing getaway or family celebration. We actually went up to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and had a wonderful time.The cabins are cozy, well-equipped, and just as described. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making guests feel at home. One especially thoughtful touch: Mr. Doug added a fan outside for those hot summer days…something we really appreciated!Kayaking was a blast, and keeping an eye on the kids was easy with everything so close by, though we highly recommend bringing life jackets if you plan to be near the water. It’s quiet, fun, and definitely family-friendly.Mr. Doug and the team are always accommodating, responsive, and genuinely kind. It’s rare to find a place that feels this welcoming. We look forward to coming back year after year!"
