A Charming Studio in Weaverville

This property met our needs very nicely. It is, as it is described, a little on the rustic side, but it is clean and comfortable and - with a king size bed - a perfect haven for two tired travelers. The room is a studio with a nice size bathroom and large closet. It has a microwave, coffee maker (with coffee provided) and a number of welcome snacks. The property could use a few upgrades (carpet), but it was very comfortable for us. I'd certainly reserve the property again if I visit Weaverville.

Cold water at bathroom sink did not work. Host responded after I left a note at checkout that there was a leak. We also found leftover pizza in the small fridge at check in. Room was very cold and damp feeling. It appears they only turn on heater when needed. Underwhelmed.

The host was accommodating however the room smelled and the french doors were glass where anyone could break into the room easy. We also had spiders in our bed. I think for the cleaning fee, the cleaners should do a better job. I wouldn't stay here again.

Exploring Weaverville

Walking distance to downtown - explored museum and purchased many nice one of a kind pieces of art from local artists at the art center. Hal was the staff on duty, he is very knowledgeable about the local artists and the county in general. The room was great with air conditioning! It was a 102 degrees when we visited. There is a lovely seating area on the porch surrounded by a yard with a water fountain. Noelle the owner was easily contacted by text and noticed that the cleaning fee was too high and had VRBO refund us part of it.
