Peaceful, Private 2 Bedroom Apt - Hot Tub, Mtn views -11 mi to Asheville

We invite you to get away from the hustle and bustle and unwind in our “Little Piece of Heaven,” surrounded by acres of woods, fields, lawns, gardens, a pond, and beautiful mountain views.

Enjoy a private driveway and parking area leading to the lower level of our home, where you’ll have a private 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment. The space includes two queen bedrooms (each with keyed entry and TV), plus a cozy den with a desk and futon (full, suitable for one).

The kitchenette is thoughtfully stocked with a mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, electric fry pan, toaster, coffee maker (with coffee, tea, and creamer), as well as a starter breakfast with oatmeal packets and snacks. Dishes, mugs, cutlery, and glassware (including wine glasses) are all provided. An additional mini fridge in the Blue Room closet offers extra storage if needed.

A laundry/utility room is available for washing dishes or doing laundry during your stay.

Step outside to the patio—perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. You can relax in the hot tub while taking in the peaceful surroundings, or unwind in the hammock or cushioned seating area. The space also features a Weber grill, fire pit, outdoor lighting, and dining area. Deer often visit the side yard at dusk, adding to the charm of the setting.

We share our property with our friendly Australian Shepherd, Callie. She takes her “herding duties” seriously at times, but a firm “no” will send her on her way. Please let us know if she becomes bothersome. You may also be greeted by one or more of our free-range chickens during the day—they enjoy the occasional visit!

Pet Policy: We allow one dog (25 lbs or under). Pets must be crated when not supervised and are not permitted on beds or furniture.

To help us maintain the quality of the home and hot tub for all guests, Vrbo will place a fully refundable $250 damage deposit hold prior to your stay. It is promptly returned after checkout as long as everything is in good condition.

Truly amazing place to stay

I can’t enough wonderful things about our stay here. Hilary and Dan are just amazing hosts. They have thought of every single comfort and the property is just breath taking. Just like the photos, this home was just as expected it would be and more! Beautiful, quiet, peaceful and even spiritual. The rooms are thoughtfully furnished, clean and with all the comforts of home. Plenty of space for my husband and I and even our son and his wife who live in Weaverville to stay a couple nights with us in the second bedroom. You will love waking up to the large private patio we enjoyed each morning with our coffee. We also LOVED the jacuzzi with breathtaking views of their farm and gardens. We even had deer show up the first morning - a real treat! Hilary and Dan are wonderful hosts and if asked are a wealth of information from places to eat and best hikes to take! It's true that Hilary's banana bread upon arrival is some of the best I've had! We will definitely be back to our "home away from home" we call it. We are usually Marriott people, but I'm so glad we ventured off the beaten path and booked this county gem... you will too!

The space is wonderfully cute and comfortable with all amenities (board games, coffee, etc) you could want. The firepit and views of the mountain valley were excellent and we all loved seeing the farm dog come around and check up on us. Ideal location for visiting Asheville or going on mountain hikes! We are seriously considering coming back!

A providential breath of peace

This property was perfectly placed nearby all our planned activities while having all the amenities, relaxation, and views to trump any nearby hotel or lodge. Our hosts went the second mile for us, and they were tremendously hospitable and pleasant to interact with while we got to enjoy their wonderful outdoor porch, garden, and fire pit. One of the best experiences we’ve had; the hosts were very responsive, welcoming, and helpful and the location is breathtaking. This is the most thoughtful place we’ve stayed; there were multiple outlets on the nightstands, WiFi password posted in multiple spots, a very well stocked bathroom, etc. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Home Away From Home

What a gift it was to have this "Little Piece of Heaven" as our home base while we explored western North Carolina! The living space was exceptional, with comfy beds, beautiful decor, and a well-stocked kitchenette and bathroom with all the amenities you'd need on vacation. The outstanding features continued outdoors as well, with a beautiful yard and patio to relax and enjoy the amazing scenery of this area. The physical property was truly extraordinary, only to be surpassed by the hosts themselves! They were so warm and welcoming, available for as much interaction as we desired as guests. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay there longer! It was truly a home away from home --- one that we would LOVE to return to!

Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Thank you!! We loved all the seating options on the porch and the fire pit with mountain spring blooming views. So peaceful and felt at home. Each bedroom and living room had their own private sliding doors to the outside area. Everything was super clean and decorated so nicely! My granddaughter had a Easter egg hunt outside and enjoyed seeing the chickens, turkey, and deer. Had everything we needed and more! Will stay again the next time we are in Weaverville.

Phenomenal Hosting Ever by far

Hilary and Dan were very well organized and welcoming! Our stay had lots of unexpected complimentary goodies. The best was probably the side by side wheeler riding that Dan graciously let us venture out and really see the property. They made it very personal for myself with the birthday gifts. A little piece of heaven

Words cannot say what I want to say. Everything about this experience was wonderful. From the moment we booked to the moment we left, everything was perfection. Hillary was in constant communication. She kept us aware of the hurricane damage and process. Thankfully, nothing of theirs was in the path of the hurricane. She greeted us in person at the door and gave us a personal tour of the property. She had our names on a welcome board, she baked a banana bread, and went above and beyond for everything we needed. The property was peaceful and clean. The hot tub and the fire pit or a wonderful touch. I would absolutely recommend this property and these hosts. If I ever get the chance to come back, I will absolutely book with them again.

Birthday weekend for 15 year old daughter

Wow wow wow! What a wonderful place! Hilary and Dan were the most gracious hosts ever, and the apartment was super clean, comfortable and stocked with goodies and everything we needed and more! The linens were very high quality, beds were comfortable, and the patio was all decorated for Christmas with a beautiful view! The weekend was to celebrate our daughters 15th birthday, and on arrival there was a birthday card and gourmet cupcakes waiting for us! We were also treated to banana bread and an assortment of drinks and snacks. Dan gave Izzy a ride on his side by side and let her help feed the chickens, which she adored. I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO’s, but this experience was truly the best, most exceptional stay yet! Thank you to the hosts for thinking of everything and making us feel so comfortable! I would, and will, recommend this place to anyone wanted to visit the Weaverville/Asheville area!

Charming and Cozy

There were loads of space and amenities, including TVs in both rooms, a "family room" (it's private), a kitchenette with a coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, hot plate, and table-top grill. The host provided a variety of snacks, coffe, tea, bottled water and a delicious, homemade loaf of carrot cake. Thanks Hilary! They even provided all the makings for s'mores!! You won't get that level of hospitality in any hotel! Hilary and Dan couldn't have been more accomodating.They checked in frequently to see if we needed anything, including our last-minute request for a bonfire. Thanks Dan! The beds were very comfortable with soft sheets and lots of pillows. The bathroom was well stocked with soaps, lotions...even q-tips and cotton balls. Each room had a beautiful, scenic view and sliding doors opening onto a private patio. The only disappointment was in having to say goodbye. But well be back soon because it's our new favorite place to visit!

The property was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything about this rental exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail and the thoughtful gestures made our experience truly unforgettable. The communication with the host was exceptional. They were prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly, making us feel valued and well taken care of even before our arrival. Upon entering the property, we were blown away by the location, beautiful countryside, and the home itself. It was evident that the hosts put a great deal of effort into maintaining the home and property. The pictures do not give justice to how beautiful the view actually is in real time. I cannot think of one negative thing about my 10 days there. The hosts, Hilary and Dan went above and beyond for our needs. There are so many perks but you must find out what they are on your own. Thank you for making my stay there just that much better. The location is close to everything I wanted to experience. So many waterfalls, great hiking, the River Arts District, amazing restaurants. The home itself was comfortable, clean, and inviting. The beds are super comfy with very nice linens. The patio is basically where we spent most of our time which if you stay there, you'll know exactly why. So many thoughtful details to actually list. Again, thank you for everything. Believe me, I never wanted to leave! I will be return, that's a promise.

Hilary and Dan were incredibly gracious hosts and really made my stay top-notch. Very friendly and informative host. Dan even took our two grandkids for a tour of the property on his 4 wheeler. Very comfortable bedrooms and living room. A TV in each space. The patio was the best part with a wonderful view. The kitchenette was limited but we only warmed up food and coffee so it was ok. It felt like we were in a mountain retreat.
