"Took up to an hour for the owner to arrive to give us the key into the home. I called the provided number twice to be hung up on (as I only speak English). The owner was able to bring a younger adult to translate. The home is mostly advertised for its hot tub and sauna. My grandmother had planned to use the king-sized bed downstairs; however, I realized she would hurt herself if she need to use the bathroom at night. The drop-down stairs to the second floor bedroom were in the way of her door....

"Ein schönes, moden eingerichtetes Haus. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Ruhig und in Hafen nähe gelegen, ein guter Startpunkt für die Auflüge.Das Haus war sauber, wir hatten nichts zu meckern. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war angenehm und unkompliziert. Check-In auch unkompliziert wir durften sogar schon eher ins Haus. Wir sind sehr zufrieden. "The hotel is in a quiet area just outside Groningen. Easy to reach by car and if you wish to visit the city centre the P+R is convenient. Car parking is free and plentiful. Our room had a balcony and views over the countryside. The room itself was spacious and spotless. The reception staff were polite friendly and knowledgeable. We had dinner on both nights of our stay in the restaurant which was in my opinion excellent. It offered a wide variety of dishes for a very reasonable cost. Again the staff were top class. If I am in the area again this hotel will be my go to. "
