Dream Ridge Lodge - Spacious, Private and Centrally Located

Welcome to the newest Lodge in the Barr Top Rentals Fleet. We acquired this wonderful location in early August 2022 and it has quickly become a favorite of our many guests since we opened.

This might be the best location for a vacation rental in the entire PA Elk Range. Less than 1 mile from Cross Scenic Overlook, 3.2 mile from Palumbo Lodge, 4 miles from Medix Run and 5 Miles from the Winslow Hill Elk Visitors Center. The lodge is situated on 9 acres, is very private and has a huge yard to enjoy. There are very few places in this remote region where you can be this close to all the main attraction and just 20 minutes from Saint Mary's (In case you forgot anything or just want a different option for dining out). Another benefit to the location is its accessibility year round. The cabin is accessed from a freshly paved and well maintained township road that also welcomes ATV riding.

We provide everything we can think of for your stay. From a fully furnished kitchen to bed linens and bath towels, we try to make your travels as easy as possible. Enjoy the spacious property and giant front and back yard. Bring the baseball gloves, frisbee or whatever you enjoy outdoors. Grill on the deck (we provide the propane) or over a fire in the back yard fire pit. (Sorry, we do not provide firewood).

Cozy up in front of the wood pellet fireplace in the winter months. Wood Pellets for heating can be purchased just about anywhere.

If you have to work while you're on vacation you're in luck. Unlike many places in the elk range, we have access to and provide free unlimited high speed internet. In Fact, we were recently upgraded to Fiber so we have amazing speed for all of your streaming, gaming or remote work needs.

We can accommodate up to 8 guests and have 4 bedrooms so everyone can have their privacy. We look forward to having you as a guest.

Awesome place to stay!

We love staying here. The house has everything you need and is so clean and comfortable. The location is great too! I will never stay anywhere else as long as this rental is available when I am coming to Benezette.

We really enjoyed our stay! There were 5-7 bull elk right down the street that we got to admire each night! Lots of wildlife all around too! The place was clean, well supplied and perfect for our family!

Very nice comfortable place. Awesome backyard to enjoy a campfire we had great weather, spent lot of time outside. We loved the area, far enough away from the traffic and located on a great road to see some elk!

Beautiful Location

Dream Ridge Lodge was very clean and comfortable! The location was excellent. We saw lots of deer in the yard, and we were lucky enough to see plenty of elk nearby. I definitely recommend this house.

Sibling weekend 2025

This was a long weekend away for my sister, brother and their spouses. This cabin was exactly as described in a wonderful location. We saw many elk in various locations, enjoyed a great fire one evening, saw many many stars on a perfectly clear night and enjoyed being together, handing out, playing games anjust being thankful that we all enoy each other as much as we do!The wi-fi is excellend at this location - and that cannot be said for much of our travel time on remote PA roads. The place is really very nice and exactly as pictured.

Very Nice Lodge

This property is very nice. Yhere is 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs. All a very nice. Big backyard with a firepit and nice back porch.

We loved staying here. Wished it was a bit warmer for hiking and we didn’t see any elk unfortunately, but the house was great. A lot was provided and it was beautifully decorated. Very quiet. Loved the master bathroom toilet (heated seat and bode-a)

The Perfect Vacation

This house has a great layout. There was plenty of space for our group of 6 adults and 2 kids. We had everything we needed for our stay and then some. The morning we checked out we saw Bull elk less than a mile from the house. My 4 year old daughter says she wants to stay here again next year instead of going to the beach! We hope to be back soon!
