Hotel is clean and staff is friendly. It was fine as an overnight stop. The town has a small but nice historic centre. It is however more or less dead. A few restaurants were open but do not look very appealing. Many properties are boarded up. Apparently it used to be bustling but many people left after the reunification.

Nice little hotel, but there is no A/C, so the rooms on top floor was very hot here in July / summertime. There is only 1 charger for EV with no restrictions, so don’t count on it being available if you’re only in for a night (it was taken all day, evening and night by another guest during my stay).

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff

We stayed here because we were in town for a concert at the Marktplatz. We were greeted by friendly staff who was super helpful and sweet. Our room was very beautiful with a gorgeous shower. The bed was comfy. Breakfast had many options of cold cuts, breads, eggs, pastries, and different juices. Outside there was even a gorgeous park. The staff even helped us hail a taxi. We would definitely stay here again!

Der interessante Bau scheint etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Treppen, Geländer, Teppichböden etc.). Auch bei der Sauberkeit ist Luft nach oben. Vor allem in der Region hinter den Betten, die durch eine recht gemütliche Hintergrundbeleuchtung auch div. Spinnengewebe sichtbar werden läßt. Beides wäre wenig aufregend beim ***Hotel. Bei den 4 Sternen der 'Güldenen Berge' aber schon durchaus grenzwertig ! Positiv: Aufmerksames Personal, super Frühstück, zum Hotel gehörender schöner Park mit Spielplatz, ausreichend Parkplätze.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben eine Nacht mit unserem Kindern (18 und 14 Jahre) in einem Familienzimmer übernachtet. Das Zimmer befand sich im Nebenhaus "Flora" (gegenüber dem Haupthaus, Straße mit Ampel). Wir waren begeistert: Neu und sehr schön eingerichtet, super sauber, ruhig - also perfekt für den Start in unseren Urlaub. Das Frühstück war super lecker, sehr große Auswahl, auch leckere Säfte und regionalen Käse vom Stück, alles sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Parkmöglichkeiten im Hof des Haupthauses sind vorhanden.

Virkelig hyggeligt sted! Indretningen var meget tysk, men alligevel med charme fra fine tapeter. Parklignende have med en fin legeplads, hvor forældre kunne sidde med en kop kaffe i Biergarden’en, men børnene legede. Restaurant med ok udvalg (også for vegetaren), mulighed for at sidde både ude og inden. Venligt og imødekommende personale. Rent, stille, og i det hele taget et fint stop på vejen sydpå. Masser af parkeringspladser. En enkelt ellader, der var nem at betjene. Eneste anke for os var, at vi havde bestilt et familieværelse - vi var fire voksne. Den ene seng er en udtrækssofa, der var lidt kort og ikke så komfortabel. For to børn er den en fin løsning, men for to voksne var den til den lille side.

Hyggeligt og pænt hotel i praktisk afstand fra motorvejen. Det er anden gang vi benytter hotellet på vej til sydeuropa. Det er et skønt lille hotel, der har fremragende og moderne værelser med gode faciliteter (f.eks. minibar). Hovedbygningen er gammel, men hyggelig. Der er restaurant og man kan sidde ude i gårdhaven og spise. Det er skønt og hyggeligt, men maden er lidt til den tunge og uinspirerede side. Der er gratis og nem parkering lige ved hotellet. Eneste ulempe er, at man skal krydse en temmelig trafikkeret vej for at komme til værelses-bygningen. Vi vil dog bestemt komme tilbage til hotellet, hvis lejligheden byder sig. Morgenmaden er ok, men lidt sparsom. Der er dog det mest essentielle og kaffen er god.

Virkelig godt hotel til pengene. Vi boede denne gang i en tilhørende bygning, der hedder Flora - helt nyrenoveret og dejligt. Ligger perfekt på vejen ned gennem Tyskland kun fem km fra motorvejen. Har sin egen kønne have og man kan spise på hotellets restaurant både inde og ude. Her anbefaler vi, at man tager det, der er i sæson. De har et sæsonkort. Vi fik retter med kantareller denne gang.
