Family get away
Family get away. Very quiet and relaxing some in our group were hoping it was a little closer to snow activities. House is everything that's listed. Easy to get to and host was very quick to answer any questions.

Beautiful well maintained home located on 2nd hole of Pine cone of the Resort at Mountain golf course. Close to everything. Suzanne, home owner, super responsive and has done a wonderful job marking this home comfortable, super nice to have A/C as well. Beautiful House on the green!
We had an amazing stay at the Mountain Golf Course Retreat. This house fit our group perfectly. The house is appointed with everything we needed and more! The indoor set up and the BBQ and the outdoor deck was so great to gather and have drinks and dinner and enjoy the view of the golf course. Suzanne is very responsive to any questions that we had. We will definitely come back next year for our annual family golf tournament.

Perfect family cabin
Loved this property! It was very clean, had a well stocked kitchen, and detailed opening/closing instructions. My son loved the “bunk” room, for his young family. The children, ages 6 & 3, had fun with the many available games and waving to golfers, who enthusiastically waved back. We appreciated all the kitchen items, tons of glasses and silverware. It was just so perfect! Close proximity to a family event made this cabin even more desirable. It’s so close to Timberline at Mt Hood. And Lake Trillium! We enjoyed Skyway BBQ and ZigZag Inn for dinners. Saturday’s farmer market was a hit, too! Thanks for sharing this beautiful mountain home with us and making our family event even more special!

Wonderful House in a beautiful setting
We rented this property for a family gathering. It was perfect! The location is fantastic, looking out on a golf course surronded by beauthful trees. The kitchen was well equiped and the bedrooms very comfortable. The dining room works well for a family meal and the outside deck was great and where we spent much of the time. I would highly recommend this property

Great cozy and spacious cabin
Suzanne communicated extremely well with me through out the stay! The cabin is cozy and spacious right on the golf course. Location is only 30-minutes away from the ski slopes, a mile from restaurants and grocery store and a nice walk to the Resort Spa.

We had family fly in and we enjoyed the holiday weekend at the cabin. It‘s such a beautiful place. The layout was perfect to accommodate all of us. We were just 20mins to skiing and tubing. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely be booking again!!

Perfect for family getaway
Our family stayed at this property during the holiday week. It's a beautiful house and fully furnished (complete kitchen wares) and complete with everything we needed for our few days stay. It had a nice holiday decoration (we stayed right after Christmas) and the property was impeccably clean, which was perfect for younger kids. It's conveniently located near the Mt Hood resort and other sno parks within short driving distance. The only hiccup we had was just the check-in process. We were supposed to get the check-in procedure at least 3 days before our stay, but we never got the instruction so we had to contact the property owner late on Christmas eve (2 days prior to our stay) to inquire about how to enter the house. This was a small hassle because our vacation week was already hectic, but Suzanne picked up our call and we were able to quickly resolve the issue within a couple hours. Other than make sure you check your check-in steps prior to your stay, we highly recommend staying at Suzanne's property. We had a truly enjoyable stay and would love to come back again in the future!

Excellent Thanksgiving Week with Family!
Beautiful property with plenty of bedrooms and space! Lots of extra amenities ( toilet paper, soaps etc.). Very well stocked kitchen with utensils and cookware. We had 6 adults and 2 teens and the space was perfect. The home was very clean and the Holiday decorations were so nice to have ( including a Christmas tree)! Beautiful view of the golf course and secluded quiet area was extra nice and relaxing.

Great Getaway
My husband and I and two other couples came down to stay for a kid-free getaway. The house is in a great location with a beautiful view of the golf course. It is right on the course so you can see people golfing and going by during the day. At night it's very peaceful and we were able to see so many stars and even the milky way! It was very close to a grocery store so we could get food to cook meals and eat out on the deck. The location also provided easy access to the Mt. Hood area for hiking, going to the lake, and other fun!

The property offered by Russ and Suzanne is beautiful, peaceful (think of having a morning coffee on a deck overlooking a fairwat and green, complete with deer). The five of us (parents and three adult "kids" found the home perfect as a base of operationsto attend a niece's/cousin's wedding upslope from the Ski Bowl at Government Camp, taking a rest at Trillium Lake and breakfast at Timberline Lodge, and visiting with family between Wenches and Government Camp. Well-located, well-appointed, and delightful. 5/5.

House on the Golf Course
I rented this VRBO as our home base while the ACPE conference was happening at the Resort at the mountain. Myself and 3 others stayed for 3 nights. The location was terrific overlooking the 2nd green, plus fantastic views all around. We opted not to play in the golf tournament and instead handed out "adult beverages" to those who were playing in the ACPE tournament. That was a blast. They house was an easy walk to the resort. We hosted a dinner for several of our business partners and had some food catered from a local restaurant. The beds were very comfortable as was making a fire in the fireplace (which was ready to start when we arrived). Beautiful home and great communication with the owners. Only think that could have made our stay better would have been if it didn't rain on Thursday and Friday.

Great place!
We stayed at this cabin for a ski weekend at Mount Hood. We had two families with four kids between us. The bunk room was a great setup and there were tons of games and puzzles for the kids. Very very close to the Mountain and the cabin had ample space with a nice mudroom and view of the golf course. There was even firewood setup in the fireplace ready to light with kindling and paper.

We had a great trip. The property was clean, quiet, and had a beautiful view of the golf course. It was close to government camp so skiing with kids was convenient. We enjoyed the fireplace and the outdoor fire pit as well. Overall, we had an excellent time!

Beautiful home - perfect floor plan for a long weekend with adult children and 4 grandkids. Decor was beautiful- furniture is top of the line comfort. Fireplace is amazing. Loved the view of the golf course and quick drive to Govt Camp for skiing and snow play. Great weekend! Would love to make it an annual retreat!

Perfect home and location for a family Christmas gathering
The home in Mt. Hood Village was quite lovely, spacious and homey. Walking into a warm home with a softly lit Christmas tree and a fire place ready to light was just the beginning of perfect stay. The entire home was very clean and well stocked. The kitchen had ample dish-ware, glasses, pans and utensils to serve a casual meal or a celebration such as Christmas. As for location, the home is 5 min. from a full service grocery store and gas station which is right off a main highway. We walked out the back door and onto the trails on the golf course for easy trail walks or a short drive provides more extensive hiking options or skiing. We will definitely look for availability next time we're in the Portland area. Lastly, our host could not have been more friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful home and setting
I can't say enough about the cabin! From the beautiful setting to the little details it was perfect. We were lucky enough to be there while it was decorated for Christmas, and the festive touches were so nice. When the owner says it is stocked with all the dishes and utensils you will need, she means it! Beds were comfortable, bedding was cozy, and we had everything we needed. Having the mud room/ laundry room was so convenient to come in from the snow and take care of wet clothes and boots. Our family group of seven had plenty of room, and we had a really lovely time.

Great for family. Having two downstairs bedrooms was just what we needed. Nice clean property. Deck is great to sit on and wave to golfers and have an occasional friendly word. Wish there were no restrictions so we could have used the fire pit. Only small issues were DVD player did not work, couch worn out on one end and mattress in one bedroom has lump running down the middle, let Suzanne know, she was always friendly and quick to respond.

Delightful week.
Sparklingly clean, with a thoughtful attention to detail, this was a great house for 3 generations of family to spend the week. The kitchen was well appointed and we appreciated the many seating options in the living room, including the overstuffed rocking chair which got lots of use as we have a 5 month old with us. I am allergic to down and hadn't thought to ask about it. The pillows and comforter on our bed were down, but there were ample pillows and blankets in the closet which allowed for an easy switch. We had lunch on the deck every day, enjoyed watching the golfers and found lots of short (.5-1 mile) walks/hikes in the vicinity. We had a delightful and relaxing week.

We arrived during a heatwave and were so happy we had looked for a property with air conditioning. It took us a few days to realize that turning on the fan helped cool the upstairs better. Nice home and fun to watch the golfers.

Lovely home....pricing is fuzzy
If price isn't an issue then this place is great. It's clean, well decorated and kitchen cookware/dishes are well stocked. We were there during a snow dump so I reached out to the owner more than usual. And, unfortunately, we had to shovel our way out of the driveway...then push our daughter’s AWD car down the snow rutted road to get to the plowed road....which resulted in us wearing out what seemed to be a brand new plastic snow shovel. She was nice enough not to charge us for that. A neighbor told us it was the worst he'd ever seen there. It was an adventure, to say the least! . ;-) The home has beds for 11 people yet the nightly fee only covers the first four people. After that there is an extra charge per person per night. Annoying, but not terribly uncommon. What bothered me is we were charged a "Additional Bed" fee. What is that? There are four bedrooms and we only used three of them. Of the available seven beds, we used three queens and one twin, leaving two twins and one queen untouched. I'm at a loss for what this fee was. We had originally needed a four bedroom but two of our family members had to drop, leaving us only needing three. Unfortunately the cancellation policy on this home is kind of tight and we would have lost half of our money had we cancelled. It's a great house and I'd love to stay there again but I just don't know that it's quite worth the cost. If you have a bunch of people pitching in, then sure. It’s an attractive and comfortable home, right on the golf course which provides privacy and a nice open view.

Hi Lynette, I'm glad you had a good time at our cabin. So sorry for the terrible storm you had to endure. It was the worst storm in 40 years. We normally don't get much snow and ice at the cabin. With regard to the "additional bed" fee, it should have been called "early arrival" fee based on your request to come a day early to the cabin. That was my clerical error for the terminology used. WE do not have an additional bed fee. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks, Suzanne

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
The home is very comfortable and welcoming. The open main room with cathedral ceilings, wood burning fireplace, and wall of windows is where we enjoyed most of our time. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The home is conveniently located, near shopping, restaurants and activities. I would recommend this home for your next trip to the mountain, we're already planning to return.
