Every season brings something new. Fall sets the valley ablaze with oranges, reds, and golds the gorge in October is one of the most breathtaking sights in the eastern United States. Spring brings wildflowers and trophy fishing. Summer calls you to the lake. Winter reveals bald eagles soaring over Cave Run Lake and a quiet, peaceful solitude that is increasingly hard to find.

THE CABIN

800 square feet of warm, thoughtfully designed A-frame living space with soaring cathedral ceilings, corrugated metal accents, reclaimed wood details, and modern finishes throughout. Completely remodeled in 2023 every inch was updated while keeping the warmth and character that make a cabin feel like a cabin.

The main level features an open-concept living and dining area that flows seamlessly to the screened porches. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless appliances, granite countertops, and everything you need to cook your catch or feed a crowd. Two bedrooms are upstairs, each with queen beds, smart TVs, and ceiling fans. The main level also features a queen Murphy bed that folds away when not in use, and a sleeper sofa giving your group multiple comfortable sleeping configurations.

A full projection screen and projector mounted on the screened-in back porch turns every evening into a private cinema experience. Watch movies under the stars without a single mosquito. This is one of the most unique amenities in the entire Cave Run Lake and Red River Gorge market - guests consistently name it as their favorite part of the stay.

Private Fire Pit with Valley Views
Gather around the fire every night. The fire pit area sits at the edge of the property with an unobstructed valley view -string lights overhead, Adirondack chairs surrounding the pit, and a sky full of stars above. Firewood is stocked. The fall view from this spot is something guests talk about for years.

Dual Screened Porches
A screened front porch with horsehead porch swings and ceiling fans is everyone’s favorite morning spot coffee in hand, forest all around, not a bug in sight. The screened back porch doubles as your outdoor living room and home theater. Both porches let you live outside in complete comfort regardless of the season.

Fully equipped for cooking your catch or feeding a crowd. New stainless appliances including full range and oven, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Blender, toaster, coffee maker, and mixer all included. Starter supplies provided - dish soap, detergent, paper towels, and garbage bags. Granite countertops throughout. Everything you need, nothing you don’t.
