This cozy ADK home has a beautiful view of Lake Algonquin with 110' of lakefront property.The master bedroom has a Stickley bedroom set with ceiling fan and private 1/2 bath.It also has a flat srenn TV with ROKU. The second bedroom has a great view of the lake with a full bath, including a deep tub across the hall! The great room with oak dining table at one end has cozy furniture on the other to watch the flat screened TV with a ROKU, lots free or bring your paswords and use your subscriptions.Internet, So you can get your e-mail or use the wifi.
There is a nice romantic gas stove in the living room for chilly nights! In the Sunroom there's a queen size pull out couch with gorgeous lake views . The kitchen is fully equipped with a refridgerator,dishwasher,microwave, stove and coffee maker, dishware and cookware. There's an attractive screened in porch, as well as an outside deck to set and relax,read a good book, or take a soothing nap.Nice fire pit outside! The granite steps lead down to the private dock where we supply kayaks or a canoe to explore the lake. Additionally We are dog lovers! There is a nicely fenced in area for your pooch to frolic and play! This is a four season home. The summers are spectacular but so is the Fall foliage season and we especially Love Winter! We enjoy to cross country ski and snowshoe from here. We are adjacent to the NYS snowmobile trail system. Gore Mnt ski center is a 40min direct drive and Oak Mnt Ski Center is 15 minutes north in Speculator. We also love to cross country ski and snowshoe here or go to Lap Land Lake 20 minutes south in Benson. After a long day of activities there is a gas wood stove to relax by

Beautiful relaxing spacious place!

Great year round place to relax and enjoy nature! Very clean and well kept roomy home with 2 screened in porches and many nice amenities! Very friendly and accommodating hosts who live nearby and are quickly responsive to any needs!

Lake trip 2024

We loved staying at this property. It has an excellent lake location with kayaks and canoes for exploring. The dock is perfect for fishing or relaxing. The house was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Wonderful experience!

Cozy Cabin

We loved staying here. The place is so cozy for the rainy weather we had. Our favorite part was still the sunroom though! Check in was easy and Debby kept the lights on for us for our late arrival. We would love to come back again!

Perfect lake house

The house and location are even better than the pictures. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful. It was the perfect get away with our pooch. The fenced area is so convenient. The house itself is so cozy and has everything you could possibly need and lots of extras. We’re hoping to go back in the summer and really enjoy the lake.

Fall Getaway

My wife and I rented this home to see the fall foliage in the area. The house was perfect for us. It had everything we needed and it was in such a peaceful setting. The owners were great in communicating with us and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this rental.

The lake house

The lake house was immaculate!! Mark and Debby thought of everything! Very quiet , neighborhood very nice and quiet. Easy for walking dogs etc Great fishing right off there dock. Caught 2-1/2 lb largemouth Bass . Daughter caught 30” northern pike Grandson caught Six small mouth bass !!Highly recommend this Rental

Wonderfully Relaxing & Beautiful Location

Our second time to this property was just as perfect as the first. We had everything we could need and the home was very clean. The views from the property are just amazing! Our dogs absolutely love this property and the fenced in yard for them is super convenient. There is so much to do in the area, but having the kayaks there for the lake gave us such a peaceful paddle in the early morning hours. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area. Mark and Debby are great hosts. Very good communication, very helpful, And willing to go the extra mile if needed. Thank you for sharing your home with us again this year.

Wonderful place, caring owners

This was my second stay here and I still love it. The fall colors were at their peak and that was so beautiful! And a bald eagle flew in and posed in a pine tree one evening. Amazing! There is a very good supply of things that are lacking at other places - toilet paper, tissues, hand soap, ice and even night lights. The furniture is comfortable and the overall lighting is good. I especially liked the fenced area for my dog. I really appreciated that the dock was still in place in October. Debby even texted me to see if I arrived safely and to check if everything was OK. I would definitely like to return.

We had a lovely stay at this property. Excellent location, super friendly hosts, well appointed house. Great way to spend some quality time with the family. My 11 & 13 yr old children loved the kayaks! Lots of great options for entertainment - games/puzzles/corn hole. We'll definitely look to stay here again in the future.

Perfect Adirondacks getaway

Our family of 4 pup had a fantastic stay at Deb and Mark’s house - being directly on the lake is perfect for little kids, the location is very convenient to the town (walking distance to store, beach, coffee shop), the house has everything we needed for a longer stay, and our dog had plenty of room to run and swim. We particularly appreciated the screened in porch and the kayaks! Deb and Mark were wonderful hosts and very responsive to every question and need. We are already planning our return!

Cozy weekend away

We had a very relaxing and cozy weekend sitting by the indoor fire place and doing puzzles. The sun room was nice to sit in and look out at the lake. Perfect place to spend a weekend away by water.

Lovely Location

We had a wonderful time at this cottage. The lake was beautiful and easily accessible. The nearby sandy beach was a fun bonus. We found the owners to be very responsive and easy to contact. We hope to return in the future.

Wonder stay on Lake Algonquin

The house was clean, the hosts were attentive without being intrusive. We loved the location right on the lake. Wells is a quaint little town with multiple hiking options nearby. We will be back.
