"Yes, the room is beautiful and spacious"

"The house is huge and well laid out. Too bad the snow storm of the century (well the last 5 yrs) made us cut it short by 19 hours. Everything was clean and all the beds had towels laid out. It was a great location and the needed ice melt was right there for use. Perfect parking for the out of town group and easy beach access before the storms hit. Not sure why this review said We’d Feb 18-Mon Feb 23 as we stayed Thursday Feb 19- 23 (well 22 cause storm). "

"The room was nice. Staff were amazing. The hot tub in the room was broken. Needs fixing. Hot water didn’t always work. The pool room had an awful smell. But the water was worrisome. Our suits and bodies reeked of diesel fuel. When I brought up my concern upon checkout they said they had just painted and it was safe. But I had to wash our suits multiple times to try and get the smell out, and they still have it. Same with our bodies. Multiple showers and baths for kids and could still smell it on them. I didn’t want to disappoint our children. As it was the main reason we booked there, the indoor pool, and hot tub in room. But I am/was very worried about what we were swimming in. "

"Let me begin by stating this is a beautiful bed and breakfast, that said it may not be your best option January through March. What no one will tell you, including their website, is you may be the only guest, and there are no other actual humans on site with you, just a phone number. We ended up spending quite a bit of time figuring out how to start the gas fireplace pilot light, with limited direction, as well as where the TV is (hidden behind a mirror) and how to work. The worst part is the beautiful breakfast everyone raved about, is non existent during the winter months and you will not even have a coffee maker in your room to help bridge the gap, nor a Keurig in the public space as advertised. If I had known this information I would have made an informed decision to book elsewhere. It was my husband’s birthday and I would have preferred an easy relaxing experience. "

"The room was in good condition but very spare. You can add a keurig. That would make a big improvement. There was a half filled carafe of coffee there at 7 am, nowhere in sight to empty it, so I didn’t bother with it. Time to get with the times. "

"Although we were only staying here to be close to family over the holidays, we would definitely return for a vacation! The hosts were helpful and responsive, the house was cozy and comfortable, and the location was perfect. We wish we could’ve stayed longer. "
