Excellent hosts ... very accommodating ... convenient to restaurants, shopping, beach (within a 20 minute drive) ... Would definitely recommend staying here ...
The chalet was adorable! My family and I loved the updated modernness of it and the convenience of location as we were fishing at the dam. Would absolutely stay again.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. The owner was very friendly and responsive. The location is nestled in the woods and the patio is perfect for some relaxation time. Would love to come back for another stay!
Tammy was amazing and beyond accommodating. The cabin was cozy, clean, and most importnantly comfortbale. We definitely plan on coming back in the future.
We love the Chalet! It is cozy, clean and has everything that you would need. Tammy is great. We booked last minute. She had everything ready for us even while traveling herself. The location is perfect, just off the highway tucked in the woods. We would definitely stay again.
We needed a quick 2 night stay while we were in the area completing some family business in nearby manistee. Unit was squeaky clean, and everything is brand new. Well appointed for a small family or a couple looking for a weekend getaway in the woods
Book immediately. Outstanding value booking ahead of time.Best rental I've had - including hotels and resorts. The owners are very responsive and considerate, check-in and out were stressless. The unit: photos cannot do it justice. Really beautiful design, architecture, and photography are all going to pull together the modern concept. Sunrise and sunset are enjoyable indoors - or on the gorgeous deck. The living: Brand new, super fast/strong heat and AC. Intuitive electronics and wi-fi. Gorgeous bathroom. Fun to use vaccuum. Kitchen has an oven with steam bake, convection, and cooktop fanning...dinner was a trip highlight every night with delicious local fruits and veggies. Laundry has steam settings.World class, state-of-the art appliances...the microwave tray automatically opens with a button, and it's okay if you softly gasp.I did.Enchanting location: easily accessible, high privacy, relatively convenient local shopping.Michigan Spring/Summer - thoughtful on-property pest control helped make nature enjoyable even during buggy spells. I did see mushrooms on-site...it really is an oasis of luxury in the heart of the Manistee National Forest.
My family of 4 had a great stay at the chalet. The chalet is decorated nicely and was very clean. We had perfect snow conditions for lots of snow activities. The place was very clean. Communication with Tammy was great. This place was right off the highway, but had a longer drive and was tucked away in the woods. Great location to the snowmobile trails.
The chalet was perfect for me and the wife. We had also bought our two small pups with us. The newer construction was very nice. The beds are super comfy, shower has great pressure and awesome. All the appliances and kitchen ware are modern and user friendly. There is tons of outdoor activities to do in the area. The area is very beautful. Unfortunately for us we had rain everyday and some point. We did end up staying in more than we had planned but the TVs are nice with plenty of streaming service. The hosts were very easy to communicate with if we had any questions or issues. I would love to do some fishing there and would definitely stay here again.
This place is way better than what is showing online. Its like your staying in a million dollar home. Very quiet. Dog friendly, nice area to relax.

The place was clean and smelled wonderful! The layout was efficient and felt roomy. Had all appliances we needed. We went to Crystal Mountain and Caberfae and this spot was right in between the two ski resorts for easy travel. We enjoyed our stay tremendously!
The stay was awesome the cabin was great, had a power outage on my last night due to weather and the property owners were extremely helpful and patient with the whole issue and throughout the process
We (2 adults, 1 kid, 1 dog) really enjoyed our stay at the chalet. The owner provided detailed instructions for finding the place, and check in was a breeze. The space was exceptionally clean, comfortable and welcoming. Rooms had comfy beds, and the kitchen was stocked for cooking some nice dinners together. Location in the woods was peaceful, but close enough for us to enjoy trips to Manistee, Travese City, and Frankfort. On the occasions we stayed in, there were fun games to play and Roku TVs in both bedrooms and living room. While we didn't get to hike the National Forest (not enough time), this cabin is in a prime location to access some of the best trails. Or, to simply sit and enjoy the peace and beauty of the surrounding forest. The summer lightening bugs really put on a show for us every night! We would absolutely stay here again!
It was a wonderful place to stay while exploring the national forest! It was cozy, the kitchen was functional and it was a bonus to have a washer and dryer! I will stay again next time I’m in the area.
