Updated farmhouse
Original farmhouse with the old charm and updated amenities, dishwasher, aircon, etc. The house is comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and functional. The aircon almost keeps up on the hot days (June/July) downstairs, less so upstairs. The climate cools off enough at night to open windows (screened) for sleeping. It's usually 10 degrees cooler at the house than down in town on hot days. There's wildlife in the yard, and it's quiet at night so you can hear the night critters. The hosts are very responsive, but didn't bother us when we didn't need them. This is a great place to stay.

Early December Visit
Our group really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Hideaway. Location was perfect - convenient to get to town and to Mission Ridge, but also private and not near major roads. Everything worked as expected - wifi was fast, and hot tub was hot. JoAnn was also very quick to reply to any questions we had before and during our stay. This is now my #1 choice for lodging when I am in Wenatchee.

Fantastic farmhouse hideaway
The place was perfect for our short stay. Very clean and private. The wildlife was unbelievable. On our third day there we saw two young moose in the Fields early in the morning and four dear in the Apple orchards that afternoon. Even though it’s cold outside the Jacuzzi was nice and warm

Family Holiday
Excellent experience from start to finish! We had a group of eight family members gathering for Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed our stay. The amenities on the property are as described and the home is well equipped. The location is beautiful and was a short trip to Leavenworth and Lake Wenatchee State Park. We would definitely reserve again or recommend this property for family vacations.

Great Place/Great Location
We only got to spend a couple nights, but this place provided us with everything we needed. There were piety of beds and bedrooms to accommodate our four children. The kitchen was plenty large and equipped for the two mornings we cooked breakfast. We really enjoyed being outside and walking the property. The hot tub was a nice touch and got plenty of use. We did have a few questions but they were answered quickly. I’m leaving out things I’m sure but this is a place that we would stay at again….in a heartbeat.

Peaceful
The home was clean and situated in a nice location at the end of a road which made for peaceful solitude. Huge wild turkeys and deer walked about and added to the ambiance. Everything was as expected and not a disappointment.

Great Vacation
Spacious, very clean, very organized. Nothing is missing, from yard games to high speed internet connection and TV . Great, quiet area in an orchard setting not far from town. Friendly owners. Will come again for sure!

Best batchulret party ever
Went for a short walk while here saw many deer. The breezeway was nice for all us girls. Spent alot of time out there. House is gorgeous and I loved the full kitchen utilities. In facted it was so nice my lil sister now wants to move out here. Will have to come back with my guy soon.

Cabin neer the orchard
It was a great little hide away for a few days for me, my friends and our kids. They loved saying hi to all the deer and wild turkeys that came by.

Sister weekend getaway
We had a great getaway at the Hampton Hideaway. The description was spot on to what we expected. We had 2 adults and 4 kiddos it was perfect for our situation. Spent one day in Leavenworth and another just bumming around the house watching the deer & wild turkeys from the hot tub. Thank you for opening your home to us, we hope to be back sooner than later.

Wonderful Place
We rented this property for a moms weekend away and really enjoyed it. The house is older but very clean and organized. The owners has everything available we needed for cooking and great organizing for helping us put thinks back where they belong (i.e. photos in the cupboards of where to return items after cooking/cleaning). We were very comfortable and the setting was beautiful. The only bummer was a hot tub that wasn't hot. Not a big deal but a but disappointing. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to the Wenatchee area.

The Hampton Hideaway was a nice peaceful farmhouse. Well equipped and plenty of room for all 5 of us
June 13-17, 2021. The property was perfect for our girls getaway. We ranged in ages 18-60. The farmhouse sits in a private area between the forest and cherry orchards. We got to see 1-6 dear each evening and 4 bull elk, with large racks, plus 6 deer on the last evening. Never got to see any turkeys, but the elk made up for it. There was enough seating for all of us to sit comfortably in the living to enjoy Netflix movies and to all eat at the dining table. There was also a small table for us to do our puzzle on while watching TV. Having a bathroom on both floors was a much needed necessity also. Plenty of beds for us three older ones to have our own room and the two 18 yr olds enjoyed the open area with their own beds, with one extra. We all loved the set up of the house, as it had all the space we needed and wanted. The hot tub was a wonderful addition, esp while watching the elk and deer so close. They had Bocce Ball there and we took our Corn Hole game to enjoy. The only close neighbors are the owners and their big event venue barn, so the peaceful tranquility was quite pleasant, in such a beautiful setting. Joann was very nice and easy to work with. We went to OHME Gardens one day (26 min away), which is a must see if you haven’t ever had the pleasure. The other four of my group absolutely loved it! Nothing beats the story or the view - great hidden treasure. We also went to Leavenworth for an afternoon (45 min away), which is always fun. We were all sad to leave the farmhouse, as we knew we were going back to the city noise of sirens, traffic, and racing cars, etc.

Like little house on the prairie
The surroundings are very beautiful like the title suggests. There is a large yard for the kids to run around in which is a big part of why we went. We were able to fly kites too. Greg and Joann were excellent communicators. Just before our stay their tv broke and the hot tub wouldn't heat. They had the tv replaced before we arrived and had a technician out to fix the hot tub so we could use it. The house is very cozy, fhe lazy boys are very comfy. My kids are 4 and 6 and loved the upstairs bedroom with the small beds and angled ceiling. Lots of cool large cabinets in the walls upstairs for the kids to play hide and seek. AC worked real well and kept the place cool and comfy during the high heat. The even lent me their compressor so i could inflate the kids pool. I went for a long run - lots of hills and lots of sun. Any trip to wenatchee is a great getaway from seattle to get some good sunshine! The stars at night are amazing. You can see tons of satelites and i saw a shooting star too. Kitchen was clean and fully stocked. Great value for the money!

Truly Serene and Idyllic!
Such a peaceful place to relax and reground from the busy lives we have. Celebrated my father's 65th Birthday, and he is a hard person to please. He loved it! From the wild turkeys, the deer family, hot tub in the morning with coffee and the beautiful mountains surrounding us, this place is truly a Serene Mountain Getaway...amazing!

Beautiful, relaxing setting
We spent a wonderful long weekend at the Hampton Hideaway. The house is older, but was spotless , beautifully maintained and so well organized and thought out. The kitchen is incredibly well-equipped with quality cooking tools. Our kids loved the hot tub, the many games and toys (indoor and outdoor), and we all loved the idyllic setting in the vineyard, and watching elk, deer and turkeys wander across the property in the evenings. The beds were so comfortable, we all slept really well. And spring skiing was minutes down the road at mission ridge. Couldn't have had a nicer mini getaway!

Great ski vacation

This house is really cozy and fun for the kids and great for our family! The owners are really nice, helpful, and accommodating! And it was really interesting learning about the family and property history. We had lots of fun sledding on our own private sledding hill; the hot tub is great (best with the lights out to enjoy the stars!), and getting to Mission Ridge was easy. The house is really well equipped with everything you could need. Thanks!

Little spring skiing getaway
A great little place tucked in a picturesque valley in the mountains outside of Wenatchee. It's reasonably close to town and Mission Ridge, but feels a world away.

Fantastic Winter Getaway!
We really enjoyed this property. The kids loved the sledding hill and playing in the snow. The sleds provided. Lots of beds for sleeping! The quiet was nice too since it’s out of the way. This property is a definite stay if you want a private home close to Mission Ridge.

This was our second time at the hideaway and it was as good as remembered. Clean, well equipped and roomy. The perfect base camp for powder days at Mission Ridge. Sledding on the hill and hot tub in the snow. Magical.

Great stay for a ski weekend
JoAnn’s stay was perfect for our weekend trip to ski at Mission Ridge! The location was a quick 15 min drive to the mountain. The home was very clean and comfortable, and we loved hoping in the hot tub after a long day of skiing, especially with the beautiful snow covered view of the yard and mountains. I would gladly stay here again and would recommend to others!

Love love love this place!!
We come to the Hampton Hideaway every year because we love it so much. We have come with groups of family and with friends to snowboard and ski at Mission Ridge. The house is a short drive to the resort. Adults, teens, and kids love the sledding hill and hot tubbing under the stars. This place is so clean that my husband says he can’t believe a rental can be so much cleaner than our own home. The first class cutlery and cookware make it fun to prepare meals. JoAnn is a wonderful hostess!

Excellent family winter vacation
We genuinely enjoyed our five night stay at the Hampton Hideaway! This was our second time back and it was exactly if not better than I remembered it to be. There were 8 of us at the house, myself and my husband along with my adult daughter, her husband, and our two grandsons, ages 5 and 7. Then our nephew and his wife joined us for three of the nights. JoAnn was very pleasant to correspond with and made sure we had everything that was needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. JoAnn, thank you for the Sparkling Cider to kick off our New Year's vacation! And we loved that we had a beautiful Christmas tree still up along with joyful Christmas decorations. It felt very inviting. The house has a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook our meals. It even has an ice cream maker! But we were not prepared to make the ice cream. Maybe next time. The house was comfortably furnished. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. There was plenty of room on the dining table that seated all 8 of us. It also was used well with family card and board games in the evenings. We really lucked out this year with great snow at the house and the boys had SO much fun sledding on the hill right next to the house. We also spent many days skiing up at Mission Ridge, just a 10 minute drive from the house. The jacuzzi was much appreciated after a day of playing in the snow. We really hated leaving but we hope to be back again another year!

Hot Tub didn't work, beautiful location!
We came for a 2 night ski weekend, the house is great and in a great location. The hot tub was not turned on when we arrived, and we weren't able to get it to work the entire time we were there. For a 2 night stay, the hot tub has to be fired up a day or two before arrival otherwise it won't be warm enough in time to enjoy it. The owners never mentioned the hot tub might be out of service, and never addressed it directly when we asked about it. At the end, they did give a small refund for the inconvenience. Just be sure to reach out ahead of time and request that the hot tub gets fired-up if you want to use it for a short stay.

Beautiful home in a quiet tucked away orchard with mountain terrain in your back yard
We had an amazing time, we even stayed an extra night because it was to perfect to leave. Everything was clean and organized. Had everything one would need in home. It was completely set up for a phenomenal stay. Owners are incredibly nice and were easy to contact if needed. The wild turkey and deer were majestic and peaceful to sit and watch from the giant bay window, and sitting out in the yard or hot tub in the evening watching the sunset was truly romantic. We Will be coming back year after year. Its a great location far from the hustle and bustle of the road and city. I highly recommend staying here.

Relaxing
My family and I had a relaxing stay at this property. JoAnn met us at check in and all the details were listed clearly in the notes provided. The home was clean and spacious for all of us to find our own spots to relax. We loved seeing the deer every morning and the hot tub was a highlight for us all. Amazing farmhouse!
We had an amazing time staying at this property! We saw deer, turkeys, quail and a multitude of smaller creatures. Everything was amazing,! In the kitchen, everything was labelled which made it super easy to put everything away and find everything. We had a fantastic time, and hope to come back in the future.

Nice Quiet Getaway
Nice quiet weekend with the kids and parents as we celebrated the union of my son and daughter-in-law. The property was a serene setting in an old cherry orchard and deer walked through at all times of the day. The house had plenty of space and all the amenities of home. Everything was well organized and meticulously clean. The owners were prompt and courteous in their communication and instructions for the stay were clear and concise. I would highly recommend this getaway for anyone spending a few nights in Wenatchee. It would also make a wonderful venue for anyone recreating at Mission Ridge.

Hidden Gem
A great place, you can tell it is well taken care of and organized well. Beautiful cherry orchard right outside. Cabin doesn't look like much on the outside but great on the inside. Owners do a lot to ensure your stay is comfortable. If you rent this place out, just remember respect goes both ways (renters should respect the property and orchard). Thanks!

Wonderful Family Vacation Spot
My entire family had a great time at the Hideaway. Our family is busy busy and the hideaway was so relaxing and laid back that all our boys even our 7 year old didn't want to leave. We will be staying here again, we can't wait to go back!!

Weekend getaway
This rental was just what our busy family was looking for. Nice, quiet location. The house was very clean and organized. Everything and more was provided (We even found an ice cream maker). The hosts were very quick to respond when texting them. Overall it was a great experience! We would definitely come back again.

Perfect!
This is such a wonderful peaceful place. We enjoyed watching the elk, deer and turkeys from this home and the large open spaces for our children to play. The home was a very clean and comfortable place for our family of six. The hosts are gracious and quick to respond to any request. We couldn’t recommend this place any more highly. Perfect!

Hampton Hideaway a hit!
The house is cozy and close to Mission Ridge ski area. The owners made a point of coming over to make sure we were comfortable and settled in. I was impressed with the condiments and staples in the house, including charcoal for the barbecue. The hot tub was crystal clear. Sleds were provided for their sledding hill and our Grandsons took advantage during the snow storm that interrupted spring in the apple orchard. This is a great cottage for families with plenty of space for everyone. We will come again!

Great family house close to snow and fun
We had a great weekend stay at the Hampton Hideaway. Even though the snow level at the property was lower than typical for February, there was still plenty of snow for the kids to sled and even practice skiing on the hill. The house was comfortable, very clean and inviting for a family with young children. The kitchen is immaculately stocked and organized, and the hosts/owners Joanne and Greg are very communicative and kind. They met us at the house when we checked in and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The house is 10 minutes from the ski resort and 15 minutes into Wenatchee if you want to go out to dinner. Just a great, convenient and cozy spot overall!

Charming Orchard Farm House
Great place for a family ski vacation, about 10 minutes from Mission Ridge. Love the kitchen, hot tub and sledding hill. Perfect for kids and teenagers.
