House Layout:
A detached luxury thatched-roof home in a prime location near the beach. With approximately 152 square metres of living space, divided among the ground floor, upper floor, and basement, we look forward to pampering up to 7 discerning guests.

Ground Floor:
A smile will spread across your face the moment you step onto the property: nestled in the lovingly landscaped garden, your thatched-roof gem awaits you, with the sound of the nearby sea rustling in the background. The entryway will impress you just as much: solid, naturally heated French limestone slabs caress your feet. Coat closet, guest bathroom, shoe storage—there’s plenty of space here for everything, and it all fits perfectly.

The floor plan was meticulously designed by the architect: Your living and dining area is both spacious and open; daylight streams in through the many windows and terrace elements, flooding the large room with a truly cosy atmosphere. Despite this airy spaciousness, the dining, living, and kitchen areas feel like separate spaces. This way, you can enjoy a film night undisturbed in the cosy couch/TV area by the gas fireplace, while at the impressive dining table you can reflect in peace on the wonderful day at the beach over a fine glass of wine. Meanwhile, in the luxury kitchen, a round of fragrant espresso macchiatos is being prepared for dessert. Everything happens at the same time, yet everyone has their own space.

When the Sylt sun is shining, your wraparound garden is a true delight: thanks to its south/west orientation, you can enjoy the sun almost all day long. With high-quality garden furniture, you’ll quickly find the perfect open-air spot on the spacious terraces. Or why not head down to the sea in your dressing gown before even getting out of bed and take a quick dip? Or perhaps you’d prefer to slowly bid the day farewell in the sea while enjoying a sundowner, maybe in the company of porpoises that frequently swim by? Thanks to the proximity to the beach, this is possible at any time and is considered by guests of the Hyggelig Hüs to be simply priceless.

Basement:
In the basement, you’ll enter your pure wellness area. The bathrooms and sauna area are simply a dream!

Here, you’ll also find two very tastefully designed rooms: one offers a double bed with an en-suite bathroom, while the other features two single beds with a separate bathroom. Custom-built cabinetry and TVs in each room go without saying. Last but not least, an utility room with a washing machine and dryer is also available here.

Upper floor:

Look forward to your fantastic master bedroom with oak flooring, complete with a small ocean view! Spacious, elegant—it’s hard to imagine a more dreamlike place to settle in and drift off to sleep with the spirit of Sylt, complete with the sound of the sea as you gaze out the open window. The attic space here has not been converted, so your gaze wanders past massive ceiling beams up to lofty heights, lending the room a great sense of airiness and lightness. If you’d rather not listen to the sea, you can, of course, watch TV before bed or to start your day.

Speaking of starting the day: it doesn’t get much better than in your master bedroom bathroom—guaranteed by an XXL shower, the finest natural stone, top-quality fixtures, two cleverly arranged sinks, and a large, freestanding oval designer bathtub.
