"Cutlery was filthy. Kettle full of limescale and so was bathroom. Loose tiles on shower floor. Stains on bedsheets. No solid curtains on the bedroom windows. Couch full of stains and absolutely 0 contact with host. Didn’t even stay the night. Will never come back and can’t recommend. Waste of money "

Great nights sleep

"Lady who checked us in was really helpful, nothing was too much trouble even though she was really busy. Restaurant staff were welcoming and friendly. There was a long gap between our starter and getting our main meal which was the only downside. We had to ask for the child’s meal to be brought as it was getting quite late. Food was hot and tasty when it was eventually served. Booking a slot in the pool was easy. Our room was clean, well stocked with toiletries, tea and coffee and the beds were very comfy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would book again. "

"West Coast trains had been severely disrupted and I could get to Crewe but no further, and there was no certainty the rail staff were going to be able to help several hundred people at a late hour. This is convenient, modern and extremely good value. I had a good night's sleep. Check it out whether or not you are going to be delayed!!"

"I had a great short break here, the staff, the services and general standards were really good. Only downsides were the bed was two singles put together, and the spa closed at 8pm, probably should be more like 9/10pm, which I didn't expect for £360 per night, other than that I'd recommend staying here.
