A wonderful spot for groups

Great getaway

Beautiful property, spacious kitchen and eating area, very clean and excellent communication with host. Highly recommend for a family getaway! We plan to visit annually!

Very unique and relaxing spot

We were there for the eclipse and enjoyed everything about the property. Owners were very accommodating. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place for family gathering or something similar.

Great weekend in West Baden

The property was perfect for our group of 10. We skied Paoli Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. It snowed Saturday night and we woke up to a beautiful snow covered property. Lots of memories made this weekend!

Fire Pit Rest

We had a group of families go to The Polar Express and this VRBO was a great place for us to stay and relax. The kids enjoyed playing outside on this beautiful farm while the adults gathered around the fire pit that was well stocked with wood and comfy chairs. We look forward to staying here again. It is very close to French Lick and the scenic railway.

Amazing host & property

We don’t know what we expected but the property was nothing but excellent. The rooms were clean and well kept. The lodge was great. The property manager answered all questions we had. Would 100% stay here again.

Friends French Lick Golf Trip

The 8 of us enjoyed the property immensely! Since we cooked dinner 2 nights (lasagna and steaks if you are wondering) we found the kitchen very well stocked and the dining area perfect! The large wood fired grill came was very useful. The fire pit was enjoyed every night....thanks for the well-stocked firewood. Sherry and Cindy, thanks so much for chance to visit and enjoy the space as well as your excellent communication and hospitality!

Great property!

We had such a great time! The property was perfect and everything we needed. The owner r Sherry was great at communicating before and during our trip. Cindy, the property manager was also amazing…..met us upon arrival and showed us around. She also checked on us daily via text. The property is secluded and just what we needed. The restaurant on site made for a great place to gather and eat together as well as play games. This place has everything!!!!! We plan to go back with family in the spring. And at least one of the couples that joined us plans to spend a few nights here in the fall.

Fantastic Family Stay Over the Fourth!

We rented the whole lodge and very much enjoyed family time in the restaurant for meals and games. The outside amenities are many, hiking, fishing, corn hole, mountain biking, grilling and campfires. The individual suites are beautiful and have everything you need and many extra thoughtful touches. Sherry is a great Host. We had no problems, but any questions were answered promptly. Don't hesitate on this property. It is beautiful and has so much to offer. A drive into French Lick or Paoli for groceries, restaurants, or entertainment is easy and close.

Great weekend!

We came down for a bachelor party, and chose the lodge because of the proximity to French Lick and size of the property. We were not disappointed. The outdoor areas were everything we envisioned and perfect for our group. The fire pit and outdoor games got a lot of use! The big kitchen was great for cooking big group meals. Sherry and Cindy were both extremely responsive all weekend. In my opinion, they hit the sweet spot in terms of giving us our space, but also checking in each day to make sure we weren't having any issues. I would highly recommend.

A beautiful and peaceful place to have a gathering.

Everyone had a wonderful time. They enjoyed the property and all it had to offer. We wished we would've had more time there. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Hopefully we can make it back for another get together.

Family Time

We had a large family group - ages 7 months to early 60’s. More than enough space to spread out and enjoy each other. We cooked up delicious meals in the well stocked kitchen, gathered in the lodge area to play cards and games and enjoyed the well cared for grounds. You need to bring nothing but your food - literally anything else you need is there. We enjoyed all the little touches like the s’mores kits and pre-laid fire pit. Just a great place.

Relaxing

It was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the hikes and making memories around the campfire and rec room. The kids loved the "Harry Potter" closet with 2 beds. Super clean and stock with anything we could possibly need. We will definitely be booking again!

Awesome Slice of Indiana Heaven

We loved the place and Sherry the host was excellent when greeting us and orienting. Wish we could have stayed longer. It's the perfect place for a group of French Lick golfers.

Camping out in Luxury …

We have rented vrbo’s several times. This 80+ acre private lodge was the best ever. It was a former restaurant that seats 40+ along was an entertainment area with a piano and a drum set. Great family retreat. Fishing lake, walking trails, fire pits and much more. Super private. Better than the pictures.

Amazing location

Beautiful location! Sherry was amazing as a host. From the bedrooms to the kitchen and all of the surrounding property this place is a must visit! Great place for a getaway to rent the whole property for a family gathering, a retreat, or just a room for a couples getaway. Highly recommend!
