Top West Bay Hotel Reviews

Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman by IHG

8/10 Good

"Lovely stay, but skip the food Our overall stay was nice, but I wouldn't spend a dime on food at this hotel. Everything was extremely overpriced for no reason. Breakfast is $50 per person, and the selection is limited, so it's not worth the price. Lunch and dinner were just as overpriced, and most of the food lacked flavor. The burger was the only dish I found tasty. The rooftop Pom Pom Room was also extremely overpriced. You can walk across the street to the beachfront restaurant and pay much less for better value. My advice is to enjoy the hotel, but eat elsewhere."

The Grove and The Grove Too

8/10 Good

"The property was very nice and the staff were very friendly. The unit was clean and the finishes were very modern. There were a few things lacking within the room such as no full length mirror, no iron, no sponge to wash the dishes. Also, the listing made it seem like they had beach chairs and umbrellas set up on the beach for you, but that is not the case. The give you beach items which you have to carry over yourself and set up. So I am not sure what the resort fee is for and the resort fee that they charge is very expensive per day."

The Locale Hotel Grand Cayman

10/10 Excellent

"I had a wonderful experience staying at Locale Hotel in George Town. The breakfast was included with our stay, and the à la carte breakfast was delicious and very good quality. The staff was super nice, friendly, and welcoming. A special thank you to the housekeeping ladies, who were absolutely amazing! They did a fantastic job and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I truly appreciated the excellent service and hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again!"

Private 7 Mile Beach Beach Club. Ocean views from Roof Terrace and Pool Pavilion

10/10 Excellent

"Boggy Sands is a great place to stay in the West Bay Area. The condo was clean, nice and equipped. The private Beachside Club has anything you might need for a day in the sand including a staff member to help with anything you might want. The absolute only negative is the walk from the condo to the beach, and it’s not bad at all. My favorite part of GC and Boggy Sands are the people. Som wood the kindest I’ve ever met!"

Cayman Bliss - Beachfront house private Pool & Beach Sleeps 8 Family-Friendly

10/10 Excellent

"This house and location were great! Wally was a wonderful host who showed us around the property, inside and out, upon arrival. My daughter’s 21st birthday was during our stay, and Wally went out of his way to coordinate with a local decorator so the house was decorated before we arrived. During the trip, I also contacted him about a few items we needed, including an iron, and he brought them to us shortly afterward. The sargassum along the shoreline was the only unexpected issue, but obviously that was beyond anyone’s control. We found several nearby beaches around West Bay and the north end of Seven Mile Beach where it was lighter and we could snorkel and enjoy the water. The property feels like a private resort. My family had full access to everything without having to wake up early to compete for chairs like at a hotel. The pool was wonderful, the cornhole boards were a nice touch, and the screened-in area overlooking the pool and beach was a great place for dinner. My wife and I have stayed at beachfront hotels in Cayman before, but this house is the way to go if you want to truly enjoy the island and avoid large crowds. We would not hesitate to stay here again.Thank you, Wally, for helping make this our best Cayman trip yet!"
