"Let's start with asking for extra pillows when we checked in. We had to call down 2 hours later because they forgot. 2nd - we were on 4th floor and the music by the 3rd floor pool was so loud it woke us up both mornings and pool isn't open. 3rd go to pool take out tumblers and we were told no we could not take them in there yet there are lots of people in there with them and more coming in with tumblers. Ask our waitress she says it's at the discretion of the person who checks you in. Why if I have same tumblers as everyone else. 4th use the iron in room and its black on the bottom and get stuff all over our clothes. Call for a new iron to front desk. We waited 45 min no iron. Finally called housekeeping and they come in 10 mins and also had to replace the empty lotion container. We go and stay alot of places but this was by far my worst experience at the Nugget."

"DO NOT STAY HERE!! Arrived at 8pm for check in after soccer tournament. First room smelled absolutely awful, burn marks all over bath tub. Requested a new room. Second room smelled better but upon inspection found roaches and short shaved hairs all in the bed, floor, on ac unit literally everywhere as well as burn marks all over the vanity and bathtub. Loose tobacco in every drawer from cigerettes being emptied out for god knows why. (Found emptied ciggerette shell in the drawer with it) The site is completely unnacceptable for kids to stay hallways reeked of Marijuana and cigarettes with very apparent prostitution going on. This place is literally a crackhouse. We requested a refund immediately and the front desk called the owner (i assume) and got it approved. She said it would take an hr or so. We packed up and traveled to a ramada about 35 min away and booked there for the night. 3 days later we still have not been refunded. The most digusting place i have ever been to, and we stay at hotels very frequently traveling for soccer. Other reviews on this site regarding the hotel are absolutely not true."

"Front desk man was very strange and not very welcoming at all. It took a lot longer than usual to check in. Everything seemed to be behind in technology. Made me leave a $40 cash deposit and told me to keep the hand written receipt in order to get my deposit back upon checking out. Then he pointed to the hand written WiFi information, which I took a photo of so I didn't forget it, which the WiFi did not work at all the entire 2 days I was there. When I told him about the WiFi not working when I was checking out, he blamed it on a storm that happened on Friday, which I checked in Saturday night and checked out Monday morning so idk what type of storm leaves the WiFi out of service all weekend but yet the electricity still worked. The neighbors in the next room were extremely loud at like 2am, tried to call the front desk and got no answer. They never had a free breakfast on Monday morning like they advertise. When I checked out, he called the housekeeper and told her my room number and made me wait while they checked it to see if it was still in good enough condition to get my $40 cash deposit back. Then asked for the receipt as well. The housekeeper finally called back after a few minutes and he gave me my money back. Very weird. Very strange. Very odd way of doing business. Establishment appears to be middle eastern owned. Seemed very stand offish to the white guy. Looked at me with distrust. And the way I had to wait there for confirmation about my room and deposit made me "

"This was a great place to stay. The room was very spacious and the balcony view so nice. Also, the breakfast was wonderful . I give it a 10 out of 10. Will definitely stay here again in the future."

"Everything was ok for what we needed it for. There was no remote in the room. I received a text asking if we needed anything from what I assume was the front desk. I let them know we did not have a remote and no other messages were passed, and we never got one. We did see a couple of bugs in the room that looked like water bugs, but we killed those. Overall, however, the room was clean."
