Lovely accomodations

If you like old houses, this is an excellent place to stay. Bed is comfy and our room had a private bathroom. Small refrigerator came in handy too! We would definitely stay again if we need a place to stay in the area. It’s close enough for trips to LBI, Atlantic City or Smithville.

Perfect weekend getaway

This house is a great option for couples who want to do a weekend at LBI and not pay the ridiculous room fees on the island. Dawn did a great job renovating this house into a B&B. It was clean and all amenities that we needed. It’s a great opportunity to experience both LBI and life off the island.

We were attending a concert at the Lizzie Rose Music Room, which was located very close to your home. All that we needed was provided in our room or in your shared kitchen. The only suggestion I have is that you provide a lighter weight bedspread/summer quilt for the bed during the warmer months. Also, the bed itself is quite soft. I know some people may prefer that, but we are more comfortable in a firmer mattress.We will be looking forward to visiting your home again in the future!

Needed a place to stay close to Stafford Twp. Arts Center, and this was perfect! Dawn was communicative and check in was super easy. Bed was comfy, room was clean and perfect for the weekend! Beautiful Victorian, well appointed room as well as library, kitchen and coffee station, close to great eateries, shops, farmers markets, driving distance to beaches. We visited off season for a family gathering so brief in/out 2 night stay. Bed was incredibly comfortable, room very spacious. Sound machine dampened some of the road noise, but it was quite a lot and constant through the night so that kept us up as we aren’t used to noises anymore. The pocket door to the bathroom got stuck a few times and had us a bit concerned until we figured out where it needed to be lifted and pushed to release it so we could “get out”. - such is the case with old homes- no big deal. The host was very responsive, a pleasure to deal with, very easy check-in/out, and had a rather thorough list of area places to visit for food, sundries, etc. we will gladly return!

Quick last minute getaway

This property was perfect for a last minute weekend getaway for me and my 22 year old daughter! The room was very spacious. Check in was easy and it was a great spot for us to sleep and shower and explore the beach during the day! Definitely a good drive to the beaches, but doable for an in-expensive weekend stay! The room was very clean and the website was accurate! Would definitely recommend!

My best friend and I can’t stop raving about Dawn’s VRBO. She was very kind, patient, and tentative, & an overall great host. The property and room were beautiful. Long Weekend at LBI

We came out to LBI to try out our new SUPs, and needed last minute accomodations. Dawn's home was perfect. Close proximity to LBI without the crowds and traffic. We stayed in the Pearl room. The home and grounds are very clean and well maintained. Everything works as it is supposed to. Nearby, on Dock Road, there is a put-in for SUPs and kayaks into a sheltered channel that is very peaceful. We will definitely be coming back!
