"Extremely Disappointing Stay!!!! I’m disappointed with my recent stay. I did not receive what I paid for, which is completely unacceptable. I specifically booked and paid for a king-size bed, but upon arrival I was given a double queen room instead. This was not what I agreed to, and it immediately set a negative tone for the stay. The check-in process was horrible disorganized, slow, and frustrating. It felt like there was no professionalism or care in handling guests. On top of that, the customer service was extremely poor. Staff were unhelpful and did not make any real effort to fix the issue or accommodate my concerns. What makes this even more disappointing is that I’ve had a relationship with this hotel for over 15 years, and this experience was completely below the standard I’ve come to expect. Overall, this stay was frustrating and unacceptable. I did not get what I paid for, and the service did not reflect the level of quality I expected. I would not recommend this experience based on this visit. "

"We stayed at this resort for a week there was nothing to do. everything on their wedsite was false information. the pool bar was closed down, the spa wasnt open, the pool and hot tub were dirty. The outdoor bar Coconuts was terrible and the batendars ignored you and they weren't busy at all. We found huge roaches in our condo and the front desk gave us a hard time with moving us to another building/condo. 1st condo had a broken dishwasher and fridge door, no wash clothes, trash outside our door and we never got housekeeping. The food was decent and the private beach was nice but we did find a place around the corner called Junkanoo beach it's a 2 minute walk down the beach from island of the seas. the food was amazing, friendly staff, a DJ, beach games, beautiful beach and lots of shells and sand dollars. We went there everyday. It made our vacation worth wild. I do not recommend Island of the Seas and woukd never go back. "

"There was no fridge, microwave, iron or telephone. We saw that other rooms had appliances.The safe was broken. The key card that opens the door after 11pm wasn't working so we were locked outside. The security officer was not in place to let us in and nonchalantly stands in front of the door and says "pull" but didn't indicate that he had pressed the button to let us in. There was no one at the front desk to reactivate our key card when it wouldn't work to open our room door. "

"Good bar, terrible hours (closed by 5pm). Restaurant undercooked EVERYTHING! I tried eating there twice and sent back the food both times. The room was run down and the beds were uncomfortable (could feel springs). The Taino beach resort pool was nice but no tubes were provided for the lazy river. There was no convenience store on the beach at all, had to ride ferry and wait an hour to buy anything. No supermarket even at Port Lucaya so groceries are out of the question. The whole place looks delapidated and forgotten"

"Coral Beach has a nice bar and beautiful location, but this particular unit has many problems which interupted our stay. The apartment is not well maintained with poor AC, leaking toilet, slidding doors not working ( many more issues) and the description not completely accurate. Unit owner needs to get this unit in full working order. We rented another unit at Coral Beach - and it was lovely. "
