Powder Days! In Montana, frosty temps and falling snow usher in an action-packed season of wintery fun and adventure. You can ski or snowboard at one of the areas 2 ski resorts. Not a downhill skier? No problem! With snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dog sledding, cross-country skiing, ice fishing and more, there's something for everyone who wants to play in the snow. The snow can arrive as early as October and can linger through May. Montana offers one of the longest winter season in the lower 48 states to skate, schuss, glide and soar.

Travelling by train? Please note: West Glacier Train station is located at the bottom of the mountain from the property. This working railway line runs parallel to Highway 2 in West Glacier. A slight rumbling can be felt in the house when a train passes by. The trains do not blow a horn when they pass through the area since West Glacier does not have an intersecting road with the trains. The history of Glacier is based on these rail lines and is an interictal part of the location.
Ring Security camera with motion lights is located on the porch next to the front door.

We just spent a full week and absolutely loved it! Sleot well, comfortable for sure. Very well equipped with whatever your need would be any time of year! Practically in the park, it's very close!
The house was really comfortable and so convenient to Glacier National Park. We had a great week here and would gladly book again. The house was immaculate when we checked in and easy to take care of during our stay. The welcome guide/location guide was excellent. This was my family’s third visit to Glacier and definitely our easiest!
They house was GREAT and right outside the West Glacier entrance. They have thought of everything you could possibly need during your visit. The house had everything from bear spray too a crock pot!! They had some of the best pots and pans I have ever had at a vacation rental. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room for 4 adults. There are tv in the bedroom but they never got turned on because it was just nice to unplug and enjoy the scenery.we saw so many animals during our trip.
The property was wonderful! The whole place was very clean. The bed was really comfortable. They had all the items you could need for a trip into the park - hiking poles, bear spray, ice blocks, backpacks etc. Hosts were very responsive and kind. Location can't be beat!
This is a very private quiet wooded property in West Glacier with nice sitting areas in back yard. It is close to highway 2 and to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. This comfortable house has a well supported king size bed. Lighting is very good on both sides of the bed, at the chairs in the living room, in the dining area, in the kitchen, and in the bathrooms. Motion sensitive lights installed in the bathrooms and stairway are very helpful. Shelving in the bathroom is convenient for personal hygiene articles. The kitchen is well supplied, as is the basic, easy to use laundry. Helpful short notes are attached to various appliances and controls throughout the house. The hosts responded quickly to questions. We have stayed at a variety of VRBOs in various locations over the years, and this is by far the best one.
Great location just outside glacier national Park. It had all the amenities anyone could ask for. The beds were very comfortable, which is important to me. I highly recommend this place.
I loved my stay at the Scenic House. It was a great experience. I woke up to a peaceful, scenic view each morning from the second-floor loft. The property is well-maintained and just what I needed for my three-day stay in November 2025. The temperatures during my stay were as low as 5 degrees, and the house was warm and comfy. I hiked during the day at West Glacier and spent my evenings on the couch in front of the fireplace, enjoying the snow-covered scenic view.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this rental. Great proximity to the Park with all the comforts of home. I cooked nearly every meal here, and having a washer & dryer was very convenient. I would stay here again.
Nestled within the trees, the view from this home is beautiful. Great location, central, but private. Proximity to Glacier National Park enabled us to visit multiple times, as well quick trips to Kalispell and Whitefish.
The place was nice, clean, close to NP. The kitchen had some staples that were very useful for cooking, things you don’t want to have to buy for a visit like spices and baggies and such. Thank you
Great space for a family. Plenty of room to spread out for a week but still be together. Wonderful location to west glacier - you can walk there. Yard was great, our boys found huckleberries right next to the picnic table. Kitchen had everything we needed and worked great. Host were responsive. A
The property was a great fit for four adults. The book of information about the property was clear and easily understood. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for meal preparation. We highly recommend this property.
Me and my wife stayed here. Location is easy access to Glacier NP West. Clean, well equipped cabin. Nothing fancy, but very charming. Trains do come by often and echo through the mountains, but other than that quiet and peaceful.
Great location. Extra space was nice. Ability to do laundry in the middle of a road trip was helpful. Utilized kitchen and foosball table. Appreciated the helpful tips in the hosts' welcome book. Our family of 4 had a great time!
We enjoyed a wonderful mini vacation at Glacier National Park. This property was perfectly located, clean and well-furnished. There were even beach chairs, towels, and a cooler available for our use. The hosts provided helpful information about the area and also directed us to recreation.gov in advance of our stay so we were able to plan our agenda and buy needed passes in advance (which we strongly recommend!! To get to some of the best hiking, a daily Going To The Sun Road pass for each day you want to hike is needed in addition to your park pass). We love to hike— So grateful they helped us.
This cozy and well-equipped cabin made a perfect launching point for our five days in Glacier National Park. Several excellent restaurants and convenience stores are walking distance away. We also enjoyed walking to the nearby river. We were greeted by a mule deer within an hour of arrival, and we did see the local bear one night. The beds and pillows were comfy, lounge space were good for our tired legs after all-day hiking.
