The host always responded quickly to questions I had prior to our arrival and during our stay. The AC unit in one of the bedrooms wasn’t working. It's a block away from a pedestrian-only street in the Quartier des Spectacles filled with restaurants, pubs, cafes, and street performers. It's possible to walk down to the Vieux Port and Old Montreal areas, although it's a bit of a hike (about 15 minutes).
