It is located off the beaten path in a quiet area, but is in close proximity to Boone, downtown West Jefferson, and North Wilkesboro. "We had a great experience the whole stay.Ken was super welcoming to my whole family. When we arrived he was very helpful about where to park and unload our luggage. After we settled in he came and introduced his self and gave us a little background about the loft and the previous owner's. He then let us know about driving up to summit to watch the sun go down. It was well worth it. Ken also took the time out to help us use the pizza cooker, which was done by wood. We really enjoyed the loft...

"The room was nicely remodeled and clean. From Expedia and the hotel I received too many messages, texts, emails and had to download various attachments just for an one night’ stay. After filling out and signing an online check in form, they then want you to download an app on your phone to get you access to the room. If not, you still have go to the other hotel’s check in counter to get the code. Room was fine, just had to turn off the loud air-con and open the windows sometime during the night. Fire pits were nice addition, although one didn’t work. Hotel is located right in the heart of Blowing Rock."
