"We absolutely loved our stay here, it was our first time staying in Kardamili and this was an amazing place to stay. Great location near an amazing bakery (bonus!), quick walk from the beach and town centre, and the apartment itself was brilliant. "We stayed for four nights. The view is amazing, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the grounds are nice. However, it seems like the property is being redone or there is a new owner and it is not fully operational yet. This place says it is 5 stars but it frankly isn’t. It does not have the amenities or service to claim being five stars. We were upgraded on arrival which was a nice surprise and made the stay better value. When we checked in we were told the bar was not operational. This had never been communicated to us before and the website says there is a bar. We would not have booked if we had known this in advance and we felt cheated as the property is expensive. The breakfast was ok but needed more choice. The dinner menu was far too limited and too expensive. The villa itself was in good condition and had the items we needed to cook for ourselves which we did most nights."

"The facility was gorgeous and immaculate. The host was very courteous. He even repaired the broken handle of my suitcase while we went sightseeing!!! We enjoyed his suggestion to go to nearby St Nicholas for dinner. It was a darling port town with great restaurants. We did not realize bed was located up a spiral stairs which might present a problem. One needs to have a car.but location is convenient if you have a car."

"My wife and I totally enjoyed our stay at Casa Sophia. It's a setting where time slows remarkably and you feel a guilt-free pleasure in having an equally slow pace to your days.I first discovered Casa Sophia back in 2017 while searching the internet for places to stay in Europe. We elected to go to Italy that time but I kept an eye on Casa Sophia. As the years went by I continued to check the VRBO site for the listing, hoping to take advantage of it sometime. There was one year I couldn't find the listing and panic set in. Had the property been sold? Had the owners retired? The next year I found the listing again and I relaxed.We made our decision to go to Greece in November of 2024 and shortly after I made our booking for Casa Sophia for September of 2025. Our hosts, Sophia and Mogens, were very good about keeping in contact with us prior to our visit, answering questions that only hosts could answer. Some people might be concerned that the hosts at Casa Sophia live downstairs from the rental property itself. Not to worry; church mice would be louder than the hosts. Seriously. And when you do want to interact with them, they are right there to answer your questions and assist you in any way that they can.If there are times when you want to add a little action to your day, the coastal towns of Stoupa and Agios Nikolaos are less than a ten minute drive away. "
