"Please do not let the exterior facing the road impact how you feel about this cute little gem of a hotel and restaurant. It’s dated, like a mid seventies/early eighties time capsule with a nautical theme. The staff is nice and despite it looking its age, there was definitely a lot of well maintained parts. The restaurant was good, waitresses and other wait staff were great. The rooms are massive also, much bigger than any I’ve stayed in before that were not suites. Additionally, the place holds events and weddings and I can see why. It is beautiful views all the way around looking right out onto Lake Michigan. It was a great first night in Wisconsin."
