"The place is unique and one day may be ready for renters is not now. Knives left out, dangerous footing inside, few lights, and the owner is not stable. I received threatening texts because I did not respond to him. He called us after we left accusing us of leaving candle wax on a plate, wanted me to take a lie detector test. Then went on about what my religious beliefs are. He is scary and I would not recommend this place until the owner is new and the place is finished for rental."

Working fireplaces. Nestled into the hillside, this home coexists with its beautiful natural surroundings. The caretaker, Brian was very communicative, friendly and down to earth. Would definitely return to Winderlea and would highly recommend to others seeking to get away from the hustle and bustle."
