About this property

The Red Door - 1 Bedroom Studio and Bfst

  • The Red Door has been freshly renovated to provide a relaxing, comfortable and private space. A fully self contained guest suite at the rear of my Victorian Cottage which is situated on the beautiful Levan River. It is only a 5 minute walk away from the centre of the town and wharf precinct. A homely breakfast is prepared for you to enjoy in the dining room. Off street parking provided. Only a twenty minute pleasant drive from The Spirit of Tasmania and just over an hour from Cradle Mountain.

    Private entrance to a sunny living room and separate quiet bedroom with ensuite. Tea and coffee facilities are provided. Small courtyard and off street parking.

Behind the Red Door.

Charming, comfortable & peaceful. Beth was a delightful host who made the most delicious g.f. fruit muffins for one coeliac guest. The bed was very comfortable & warm. Our little lounge had a super little heater. Keep an eye out for many of Beth's quirky little objects & lovely art. Lovely garden. Easy walk into Ulverstone with it's marvellous Visitor Centre.

Everything ! It was the best place to stay. Beth was the perfect host, it was like staying with a friend. Comfortable bed, lovely hot shower. Everything was clean and welcoming. Our stay included a gorgeous breakfast every day with cereal, juice, fresh berries, yoghurt, toast and muffins. Perfect location for day trips in every direction.

This is a lovely place to stay. Friendly owner, delicious breakfast, comfortable bed and artistic decor. Everything you could need is there. I drove and was mainly visiting family, but you could walk into Ulverstone and to the shops.
