"Went in for check in and there was absolutely nobody there but when I got back around 10 pm to try again the front desk attendant was super sweet and helpful and made check in super easy! Lots of parking and room was nice and clean"

"Booked for an overnight trip to see all the Mothman things in Point Pleasant. No complaints about the stay except that the hotel had a stale cigarette smell throughout. We didn’t eat breakfast there, but we did utilize the pool. Overall, pretty good experience."

"Very quaint property and the location was awesome, just steps away from downtown. The views from the rear deck were spectacular as we spent the evening watching the barges move up and down the river. The house is attractively decorated and equipped for comfort. I highly recommend the La Belle River House to anyone visiting the area and look forward to a return trip soon."

"I stayed at Adam's charming houseboat for three nights with two close friends for our 7th annual camping trip, and we were absolutely blown away by our stay. When we arrived in Langsville, we encountered some pretty severe flooding blocking our route to the property, but Adam drove 20 minutes to where we were and led us through the least dicey back roads to ensure we made it safely.The houseboat itself is so quaint and unique. We enjoyed our days exploring the farm, chatting with the cows, boating in the pond, soaking in the jacuzzi tub, and hiking in Hocking Hills. We spent cozy nights by the fire pit, grilling, and listening to thunderstorms. It was the perfect vibe for us.Adam was truly the best host we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. Beyond saving us from flash flooding, he welcomed us to explore his massive property, told us about nearby activities, and introduced us to his adorable pup, Sparky, who literally herded us to the swimming pond when we were looking for it.On a personal note, I moved out to Arizona 6 years ago and have been privileged enough to still enjoy this camping trip every year with my best friends. We look forward to this trip each year, and Adam's property provided the perfect getaway; we can't thank him enough. It was an adventure from start to end, one we will cherish for many years to come.Thank you, Adam!"

"This was the VRBO was equiped with everything you need or may have forgot. Roger was so nice and helpful. Beautiful property with beautiful lights at night. A perfect quiet getaway. Lakehouse was stocked with snacks, water, coffee so many special toys and games. My kids loved it and we loved the boats and fishing. Spring trip is already inAlready planning a return trip! Please don't change a thing. It's wonderful !!"

"We wanted to get away from the city & spend quality time together as a family. We have two disabled family members. We were able to get them in & out of the house via the back ramp. Beautiful scenery, the birds, the deer & even some smores kits left by previous guests. We decided to replenish them. The pool was refreshing & the hot tub was the perfect temp. Everything was clean! We will definitely book again! We hated to leave!"
