60th Wedding Anniversary
This property was perfect for a small family celebration and the base for a snow coach ride to Old Faithful. We found the house very clean, comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. If staying in the winter make sure to have a vehicle with good clearance and 4 wheel drive. Close to snowmobiling trails.

Can't get a better location, accommodations & host. It was the owners first snowmobiling guest with inclosed trailer. Getting in was a bit of a process but I think we got that all figured out for future. Host & team go way above & beyond to help & make sure you're taking care of.

Perfect location for access to Yellowstone NP west entrance. Cabin was clean and well-maintained. Plenty of room for our group and the kitchen is fantastic. We cooked every night. Everything is clean and comfy. Fireplaces are a great bonus. We loved our time at this cabin!

Enjoyable, spacious, and close to West Yellowstone park entrance!
Whispering Pines, had plenty of space for our family to enjoy our Yellowstone vacation! Close to town yet, hidden in the woods. The outside upstairs deck offered enjoy time together and the downstairs game was fun for the kids too!

A winner
This forest hideaway was nearly perfect for out party of seven. The location is outstanding. The west entrance to Yellowstone Park is fifteen minutes away through the town of West Yellowstone—close enough for easy access to the park as well as to shopping and restaurants but far enough away from the town craziness. The kitchen is generously appointed and the house itself tastefully furnished and well maintained. The only discordant note: the WiFi died three days into our weeklong stay but we made do with our cellular service. Owner Rand was instantly on the case and appropriately apologetic. Would definitely stay here again.

Richard, Thank you for the nice review. I apologize again about the loss of internet. Starlink just accepted my order for their new service and hopefully we be back up and running in about two weeks. Buried in the woods always presented an internet challenge for the area. Starlink reviews in the area have been excellent. Rand & Sonia.

Excellent accommodation
Great experience at the cabin. Virtually everything provided that you would need for staying with multiple family members. Really thoughtful amenities that really made a difference such as excellent beds and black-out curtains,etc. and all the things that make the whole stay quite comfortable. The location is perfect and about as close as you can get without being directly in West Yellowstone and very convenient to get to the Park or restaurants and stores. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay at beautiful Whispering Pines!! The house is very convenient to touring Yellowstone and to all West Yellowstone has to offer as well. The kitchen was very well stocked for our cooking needs. The host was very easy to communicate with. We loved our stay!!

Fantastic House!
This house was all I hoped for and more! Most impressed with the quality and quantity of kitchen appliances, cookware, etc. The house was extremely clean and decorated as it should be for the area. Plenty of very nice bath towels. The house was very spacious and layout worked great for multiple families. Host was great to work with. I highly recommend this property.

Great place for multi family vacation to Yellowstone.
The house was a great place to stay for our trip to Yellowstone. It was a bit hard to find on the first day. The directions and map were a bit confusing. We got lost finding the cabin but once we were there, the house was great. The location is convenient to the West Yellowstone Entrance for the park and for quick trips to West Yellowstone for museum visits, shopping and restaurants. The owner was very receptive and answered texts quickly and helped with any issues that came up. The house had plenty of areas for our group of 11 to be together or to spread out for alone time. The kitchen was adequately stocked with enough essential dishes/cookware to prepare our meals. The dishwasher will need an upgrade soon. It didn’t clean or dry very well. Also a new can opener would be helpful. The laundry washer and dryer worked great and soaps were supplied by the owner. The fire pit, board games and hot tub were all great for fun times around the house. The owner supplied wood for the campfire which was a great bonus. All in all the house was great and we enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this house for a large group vacation to Yellowstone.

Overall we enjoyed the stay, the place accommodated all 10 of us. The kitchen is fairly well equipped but wish more trash bags. The place is a little old compared with the profile picture.

Snowmobiling Trip
This was a great property with everything that was needed for the time away. You could ride right onto the main trail, cabin was very clean, comfortable and had plenty of space. Would absolutely stay again.

Great snowmobile get-a-away
We stayed at Whispering Pines Lodge for a long, guys snowmobile weekend. It was a perfect spot for us to hang out after spending the days in the mountains. The hot tub was just what we needed at the end of the day. Cabin was stocked well (although, could use some new non-stick cookware :0) ) and was a very cozy quiet spot away from the action of town. Will definitely be back! Thank you for opening your cabin for others to enjoy the area!

AMAZING
This is our second visit to MT. This place was really nice! Host was even better! We were there when record temp lows hit as well as a lot more snow than last year. Had issues with heat and hot water and host was gracious enough to move us to another cabin he has! It was amazing as well! We will definitely reach out to this host to stay in one of his properties again!!!

Kerri, Thank you for the nice review and I'm so glad that Serenity Pines Lodge worked out for you just as well as Whispering Pines did. It turns out the propane regulator was bad and was replaced. The gas company suggests that I replace the regulators every 15 years which is now on my maintenance schedule. It was great that you enjoyed your stay at both cabins. Great cabin, great host, great experience!
The cabin is even more beautiful than the pictures show. The kids (5 & 7 y.o.) called it "oh so cozy" and really enjoyed having their own room with bunk beds. The fireplaces and hot tub made the whole experience even more enjoyable as it was below 0 for a couple days we were there. Having the snowmobile trails right at the end of the driveway was amazingly convenient. The view is gorgeous and its nice a private. Rand was fantastic to work with, quick in responding and always offered wonderful recommendations. I would love to come back to stay there again someday!

BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED VERY CLEAN HOME, GREAT EQUIPPED KITCHEN, COMFORTABLE BEDS, PLENTY OF TOWELS, GREAT SHOWERS, LARGE WASHER AND DRYER, RELAXING HOT TUB., QUICK DRIVE INTO TOWN AND WEST ENTRANCE OF PARK. PLENTY OF ROOM FOR OUR GROUP OF 10 ADULTS. TWO RELAXING TV ROOMS. ONLY ISSUE OUR GROUP HAD WAS WITH THE INTERNET RECEPTION WHICH DIDN'T WORK SO WELL EVEN WITH MOST PEOPLE LOGGING OUT. WE ALL AGREED WE WOULD ABSOLUTELY STAY HERE AGAIN.

Awesome location
It was great! Very close to West Yellowstone. Literally an 8 minute drive. The owner allowed us to check in early to accommodate our Rehearsal dinner in town. The most awesome part of our stay was that one of our guests left something at the cabin and the housekeeper was able to find it and let them go get it when she was cleaning!! That was very much appreciated!! This cabin has a great location and can accommodate a lot of people in very nice rooms!!

We had a great time at Rand's property. The home was large enough for us all 9 of us to be very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked and beds were comfy. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after long days of hiking in the park. Would definitely recommend.

Great Family Home
This property is a great size for larger families. Owner is also building another 2 large properties less than 10 yards from Whispering Pines making it even better for large family gathering. Owner was very accommodating and helpful. Property was well stocked with supplies, movies and games. Beds, linens and pillows were extremely comfortable. Kitchen was better stocked than my kitchen at home. Very close to Eest Yellowstone entrance and town. Would definitely recommend this property to others and hope to go back again.

Eric, Thank you for the nice review. The two new 5000 sq ft luxury cabins are located on their own 1.2 acre lot. Your 10 yard comment may be confusing to folks. Also the properties are located 8 mile west of West Ywllowstone, MT and the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park...not the east entrance. Rand & Sonia WOWyellowstone.com

Family reunion
The property was immaculate inside and so well stocked . All our meals were at home and the dining table seemed to be the gathering place. We were somewhat taken aback by the construction going on outside. We did get used to it though, and it didn't interfere with our use of the deck upstairs. The location for visiting the park was perfect. Interestingly we learned that letting the crowds go early and not going ourselves until the early afternoon worked out very well. We never felt we were part of a mob scene driving from site to site. Unfortunately a few of us got COVID at the end of the week so things became a bit hectic. It the community health center in town took good care of the matriarch (me!) and transported me to the small hospital in Big Sky, for a good workup and appropriate treatment. So all’s we’ll that ends well.

Wonderful experience!
The house was beautiful! It fit our family wonderfully! We loved that there were 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. There was a living room, nice kitchen, dining room, and family room. We loved the deck and fire pit on the deck. The hot tub was nice. It was so nice how the dining room table was all set up with the plates, silverware, glasses, and wine glasses when we arrived. We were glad that we could also wash and dry clothes while we were there. It was wonderful that we were so close to the town of West Yellowstone. The stores, food, and coffee shops were wonderful! Thank you so very much! We had a great experience! We also got to talk to the land lord. He was a nice man.

Beautiful home and great location
We had a great stay in this beautiful home! The beds were comfortable ,the kitchen was well stocked , and the teenagers enjoyed the game room downstairs. The upstairs deck was our favorite gathering place, perfect spot for coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening! The location was excellent as it was just outside of town and very close to Yellowstone’s West Entrance.

For our vacation while visiting Yellowstone, we stayed at this property. The owner was amazing at answering emails when I asked him some questions. Place was huge and had more than enough sleeping for all of us along with a fun game room for the kids and a great outdoor porch. I would highly recommend this property to anyone

Beautiful and Immaculate inside. Not so outside!
I can not say enough about the inside of this property. It was beautiful, very clean, comfortable, traditionally appointed, and the kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were great, but small. The bunk room beds need some attention. They were wobbly. The outside of the house was very poor. There were three septic tanks dug up right next to the back of the house. That is what you see off the top deck and the bottom patio where the hot tub is. There was construction material leaned against the house. The picture of the back of the house is misleading. The snow covers up all the terrible massive holes. There is no picture of the front of the house. The front porch was very dirty. The road and driveway are dirt and gravel which tracks into the house. We couldn't get the wifi to work, and we never did get the key box to open on the porch. Thank goodness the owner was there when we drove up. We may never have gotten in. Frankly, we drove away the first time we pulled up in front of the house, because we thought it could not be what we rented. The outside of the house needs attention! The inside of the house is the redeeming factor, and it is minutes from West Yellowstone and Yellowstone Park.

Fun times in West Yellowstone before (re)opening day at Yellowstone
Rand's home had everything we were looking for. Mountain air, two separate living rooms so our group of kiddos and parents could each have some space. The kids loved the hot tub and the outdoor fire pit. We were fortunate enough to extend our stay an extra day to get into Yellowstone as it opened on 6/22. My extended family had a great time at the home, and it's only 10-12 minutes from the Yellowstone gate (unless you're going re-opening day, in which case it took close to 2 hours to get through the entrance that morning).

Steve, Thank you for enjoying the cabin as much as we do. Opening day was quite a mess by all accounts. The feedback from the rangers is the park is so much less crowded due to the odd/even license plate restriction. FYI, They announced today that they are going to open the north loop on Saturday as well as remove all restrictions.

Great Stay!
Rand's place is amazing! Having coffee in the kitchen with a view of the trees was so special. It was very easy to get to downtown West Yellowstone and the park (about 10 min). The property was slightly hard to find due to Google Maps directions being off but Rand provided a PDF with directions beforehand and, when I couldn't access it due to WiFi issues, he was quickly available to steer us in the right direction which was super helpful!

Fantastic home away from home in the woods
Glamorous kitchen, 3 full bathrooms, 2 wood fireplaces, a hot tub in wintertime, close proximity to Yellowstone, fantastic views of the woods in all directions, and an incredibly gracious host. I would stay here again with my family in a heartbeat. A word of advice…don’t take Denny creek road if there is snow on it. There is a back way to get to the cabin! My AWD vehicle got stuck and had to get towed because Denny creek rd is an unmarked snowmobile trail basically until mid-May. Make sure you know the alternative route to get to the cabin 😉.

A great place to be!
We had a great time on our trip to Yellowstone! Our house was fantastic! Very clean, and very comfortable. The furniture lends to relaxation. Tankless water heaters are a plus, especially with 7 adults all staying in the house. The convenience to town, and the park was awesome! I definitely will stay here again!
