Trails Edge Retreat - West Yellowstone Townhome

Welcome, and as you will see from our pictures we have given our guests all the comforts of home.

We also offer self-check-in with a digital lock.

Additional amenities:
On the main floor, you will find a well-supplied kitchen for your cooking and serving needs. Adjoining the kitchen, kick back and relax in the living room with a flat-screen TV, and our beautiful gas-insert fireplace. On the upper level, there are two bedrooms, each with one queen bed, flat-screen TV. Also located on the upper level there is a full bath with tub and shower. As you retreat to the lower level of the townhome you will find two bedrooms. The first is our open bedroom with a queen bed, and flat-screen TV. There is also a window for natural light and fresh summer air. Next, we have our laundry facility with washer, dryer, and laundry supplies. The back bedroom is a bedroom with one queen bed. There is also a bathroom with a large shower on this level.

So after a fun-filled day in the park, which is 6 blocks away, return to your place and enjoy a great meal and relax for a bit. But don’t forget our town also has a lot to take in. Just a short evening walk you will find the Grizzly Wolf Discovery Center, PLAYMILL theatre, Historic Museum, numerous shops to browse, and some great places to satisfy that sweet tooth. As the day comes to a close, return to find comfortable beds, peace, and quiet, with great fresh mountain air to give you and your family a wonderful night’s sleep. Incredibly close to the West Entrance of Yellowstone, but largely removed from noise (except tractor trailor trucks idling outside at 6 am). Comfortable, well-stocked townhouse that suited our needs well.

The owners are super nice, and provided little helpful extras like a cooler to pack our lunches for the day and bear spray, so we didn’t need to buy that. Being from Ohio, we were surprised that there was no air conditioning, but the evenings are so cool that we just had to open windows and it cooled right off.

Great quiet location

This is a great place to stay in West Yellowstone. It's on a quiet side of town but still a short drive from the park and all the restaurants. The home was roomy and made a great home base.

Perfect spot for our family

We stayed here while visiting Yellowstone and the house was perfect. Everything was clean, we had plenty of space and Ryan and Lisa made the check in and check out process easy. The location was wonderful, right off the main road and we appreciated the trees and shade they offered when it got warm! We'd happily stay again if we are in the area.

Ski vacation.

Excellent location for the Nordic ski trails. Good setup kitchen for cooking. Beds were comfortable and rooms quiet, nobody complained about my snoring except my wife. We will be back.

Excellent family weekend

We loved the location and the property. It was tight for a family of 8, but we knew things like seating and dining would be hard anywhere. The property managers were attentive and communicated clearly before, during and after our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay

This is great place to stay close to Yellowstone national park. It is on the edge of town and away from the noise. Love the communication with the hosts. We had a small issue with the lock but was able to call them and it was quickly resolved. I would highly recommend this property.

Just right!

Just right for 3 adults and a teen boy to visit YNP. Right on the edge of town, quiet, clean, slept great, and has all the important essentials. Host was responsive and quick to help us get in town quicker when our flight was delayed a day and time was of the essence. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Great Base for Exploring

Trails Edge Retreat is a great home base for exploring the Yellowstone area. Clean and comfortable for our varied crew, well appointed for meals at the house before and after our adventures. Ryan and Lisa were great to communicate with throughout the rental process. 100% recommend renting this place if you want to base out of West Yellowstone!

Too short but so wonderful!!!

Unfortunately our trip to Yellowstone only allowed us a two night stay in West Yellowstone. The townhouse was amazing! Spotless when we walked in, all amenities taken care of, quiet street, and only a few blocks from all shopping and restaurants. The beds were great, plenty of space for our family. Perfect access to the park entrance and overall just a great stay.

Great spot in West Yellowstone

Ryan’s place was just what we needed for our family. There was an issue with the refrigerator and it was handled quickly. I recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Great family vacation!

Location, location, location! This is a great location, quiet street and walking distance to anything you need in West Yellowstone. It is also only a few minutes to the entrance of Yellowstone. So, was a great "home base" for our day trips into the park and for wondering around West Yellowstone. No reservations about recommending to others.

A cozy and spacious town house near Yellowstone National park

We had the most delightful stay at this townhouse in West Yellowstone! The property was spacious, clean, cozy, and well-equipped. It felt like a home away from home with all the amenities we needed readily available. The host was responsive and that made the entire experience even more enjoyable. We cannot recommend this townhouse enough to anyone looking for a wonderful family vacation rental in West Yellowstone. We are looking forward to coming back!
