"Everything was great! We didn’t eat at the restaurants nor use the spa. Our room was amazing! We were upgraded to a junior suite. Everything is immaculate. The hotel was conveniently located to all major sightseeing locations. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Great stay! Highly recommend!"

"This was our favourite hotel during our three week stay in Europe. Friendly staff, clean room, centrally located. Being on the canal it could sometimes be loud from street noise but the hotel was fairly sound proof."

"The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and I really like that the luggage storage was in a secured room. The room itself was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable. They had AC so it would be good on a hot summer day but the weather was so nice we just had the windows open the entire time and the noise from the street and church bells wasn’t that bad. They didn’t have a fridge or kettle in the room but you can ask for hot water at the restaurant downstairs. The only thing we didn’t like is when we walked into our room, it looks like they just cleaned it and mopped the floor, so the floor was sopping wet and kinda smelled weird. We had to use the bathroom rug to dry it and the open window helped with the wet smell. Other than that, it was awesome and Ghent is beautiful! "

"Edge of city centre with own underground parking. I used all the time but no space reservations taken. Would have been more challenging to find alternative parking just off the ferry. Worked out I suspect due to the EUR 32 per day charge putting some off. Breakfast great. Good location for accessing city attractions walking."
