"The bathroom was OK. The window blind needs replacing as it has water spotting on it which makes it unattractive. The toilet bowel cover is loose to the point it is a safety concern. There needs to be a mat in front of the sink to prevent excess water dripping on the floor. But the bath is clean in other respects."

"Vraiment contents d'avoir choisi cet endroit: climatisation relativement silencieuse, équipement de cuisine complet, propreté à tous les niveaux; surprise: un bain tourbillon dans une des chambres. Moins aimé : la plage qui ne fait qu'environ 100m; oubliez les longues promenades sur la plage. Toutefois l'environnement extérieur était accueillant et de nombreuses chaises style adirondak nous permettait de bien respirer l'air salin tout en ayant une très belle vue sur la baie. Excellent lieu de repos!"

"This property is worth planning a vacation around! I saw this listing and decided it needed to be a part of our trip to Nova Scotia and I am so glad that I did. The views alone make it worth it, the super comfy beds are a bonus perk! Paul is so friendly and generous, he offered use of his fishing poles and even his vehicle! Everything was absolutely lovely and even a cool, rainy day was pleasant here. The kitchen had plenty of supplies to make dinner each night and we all were giddy to see seals on the low-tide island in the mornings."

"We ended up at Bruce House after a last-minute change of plans and I’m so glad we did! Overall, the space was clean and comfortable (the shower was especially lovely) and we were able to take advantage of the well-stocked kitchen. The back yard/patio was a great place to relax. We even had a deer and fawn stop by! Communication with the host was great and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay again."
