"In a lovely new neighborhood up in maple bay, we really enjoyed our little place while we attended a dance competition at the cowichan theater. Laundry, full kitchen, & a really nice fresh bread dropped off by the lovely hosts. I just wouldn’t ever want a hotel after this. Hosts were quick with responses to my questions. Grateful :)"

"This is the second time we have stayed here and we have nothing but great things to say. The house is so clean, so well designed, and thoughtfully prepared for its guests. It’s the perfect home away from home. I don’t know why you would ever want to stay at a hotel in Duncan when you can stay here! Laurie is a wonderful host. "I grew up on Saltspring. My best friend, who had recently been widowed, expressed an interest in seeing the island so I arranged a visit. I had stayed at the Vesuvius Villas before and I knew we could each enjoy our own bedrooms and bathrooms for a reasonable price. This unit lived up to all my previous visits without exception. I showed up with a broken leg and they really bent over backwards to get us in early and into a room where I would be comfortable and have enough space for my wheelchair. All of this was with without even asking. Staff is 10/10. The hotel itself is also gorgeous and new with lots of things around. "
