Beautiful lake front, boat dock, kayaks, near Clemson. This large family home sits on beautiful lake Hartwell. Lake Hartwell is famous for great fishing and many water sports. Just a short drive to Clemson University and many beautiful waterfalls. The house has seven bedrooms, five full baths and 2 half baths. Four of the bedrooms have their own private bath. Sleeps 16 very comfortably The house has two well stocked kitchens which allows for plenty of space to spread out. There is a two story gas fireplace, screened porch with lots of seating, large game room with pool table, ping-pong, etc. enjoy the water pad, 5 single kayaks and 2 junior kayaks, and 2 paddle boards, 3 person canoe.

Large gas grill and two porches for outside dining, and nice Charcoal grill. Hot tub and gas fireplace on lower patio with sitting area.
Fire pit down near the lake. Great place for an evening fire or just relaxing by the lake. BOOK 3 nights from Oct. 1st to March 30 and get 4th night FREE.

Great lake house for big family.

We had a great time at the lakehouse with our extended family! Easy access to the lake, great neighbors we chatted with often! The amount of rooms/beds is perfect for a bigger family and having 2 full kitchens was perfect for keeping all our food we tend to bring (2 fridges were a life saver!) would for sure stay here again. Communication before, during and after was great with the owners!

Wonderful Lake house

Beautiful house, great for families

The house was awesome. The whole family enjoyed their time. Very spacious and tons of amenities (some great ping-pong games). Great host, very responsive to inquiries.

It was very roomy and nice. It was 13 of us and we enjoyed everything from shooting pool, to fishing,fire pit, the two kitchens and more. Everyone enjoyed and we wanted to stay a couple more days but work was calling.

Fantastic lake getaway

This house has it all. The kayaks, paddle boards, kids toys, floats and water pad kept us all entertained. We rented a boat and kept it at the dock which was great. Ping pong, pool table and hot tub were all added bonuses as well. Great vacation spot.

AWESOME HOME & LOCATION!

Family gathering to celebrate Easter together as a family as well as my 75th birthday. This home is PERFECT! It is warm and inviting, with well stocked kitchens with all the necessary appliances and items needed. The property host was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was very timely and responsive to any of my questions. Location is beautiful as well. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the lake with all of the kayaks and paddle boards on site. Very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Will definitely go back as this place is PERFECT!

A Great Home for a Family Reunion

This was the 32nd annual reunion for my family. We have an age range from 2 to 77 years, and everyone in my family found something special to enjoy about this property on the lake. There was plenty of room and lots of things to do so it was a great setting for our reunion.

Thanksgiving Vacation Family Getaway

Great house and property for our extended family gathering over Thanksgiving! Very memorable. The hot tub and pool table were big hits. Plenty of space to spread out and one of the best stocked rentals I’ve been in. Both kitchens had plenty of pots, pans, etc. Perfect for our baking needs on T-day. We even caught bass and catfish in the lake.

Perfect Spot!

We loved this house and property. The house was clean and organized. The kitchens had everything we needed to cook meals. There were toys for the kids to play with and they loved the Lilly pad on the lake. It was so relaxing to sit by the water all day and let the kids play.

Old College Friends

Group of old friends needing 7 bedrooms on an annual trip. We enjoyed the roominess of the house and the multiple group areas for sitting around, talking, eating and playing music. The lake, kayak and paddle boards were great also. There were lots of great hiking areas within a 30 or 40 minute ride and boat rental available near by. One of the best houses we’ve rented for our annual get together.

Family Reunion

Our family had a great time staying at this home. Great location for our daily ‘explorations’ of hiking, waterfalls, and putt-putt golf. The home had plenty of space for us. The best part, we literally did not have to bring anything but our food to this well stocked home with a perfectly supplied coffee bar. I wish I could comment about the fun at the community pool. We didn’t go. The kids just wanted to swim and play in the lake with all the water toys supplied by the home. We even caught fish off the dock. Highly recommend this home!!

Great Lakehouse

This house is perfect for large families. Beautiful views, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and clean with plenty of space. Our favorites were the 2 kitchens that were ideal for cooking our Thanksgiving meal, the gameroom where the teenagers spent most of their time, and the multiple bathrooms that allowed us all to get dressed at the same time when needed. It is a fairly remote property so be sure to stock up on anything you may need before you go to the property because stores maybe at least a 15 min drive. But I have no complaints on this house! Sandra was an awesome host and was very accessible although we didn't encounter any issues so we didn't need her. Our family would definitely stay at this property again!

**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible Lakefront Retreat!**

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this lake house on Lake Hartwell! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views and the serene atmosphere. The house itself was spotless and beautifully decorated, with all the comforts of home. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living spaces were cozy and inviting. One of the highlights was the spacious deck overlooking the lake, where we spent hours soaking in the scenery and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The private dock was a fantastic bonus, perfect for swimming, fishing, and launching our boat for a day on the water. The location was ideal, offering a perfect blend of seclusion and convenience, with nearby restaurants and shops just a short drive away. The hosts were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We can’t recommend this place enough and are already planning our next visit. If you’re looking for a relaxing, luxurious getaway on Lake Hartwell, this is the spot!

Definitely Warrants a Return Stay

Our group of cousins and spouses are all over 65 and some have mobility issues, but at least once a year we gather for a mini family reunion. Everyone felt this house was a favorite of all the ones we have rented before. The access to the lake was gradual and walkable by everyone. The house was perfect for whatever activity a person wanted--kayaking, swimming, fishing, reading on the lower covered patio, walking, playing board games, soaking in the hot tub. All equipment was well maintained and the patio furniture was plentiful and very comfortable. Inside the house was just as inviting. Four king beds with private baths! Three additional bedrooms with comfortable twins or a queen. Sturdy handrails on the stairs. It was just perfect. And we like to cook--the kitchen was one of the best stocked and spacious kitchens we have had--three people could cook and/or clean without tripping over each other or constantly having to move out of the way. The multiple refrigerators were so appreciated and we never ran out of ice--a first! From the moment we walked in, it was evident that this house is someone's home and not just a rental property. That makes all the difference. Thank you, Sandra, for allowing us to have such a lovely place to reconnect with our aging family.

We’ve stayed at a few VRBO’s through the years, and we all agreed this was the best yet! The house was so clean and comfortable and included many amenities that couldn’t have been more perfect for our group of 15 (ages 6-72).The children stayed in the lake all day - endlessly entertained with swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing, playing on the giant floating mat, going over to jumping rock, and fishing. Sandra was great to work with and immediately answered questions that came up. She suggested a local waterfall to visit, which was simply amazing. We are so glad we made the choice to stay here!

Making Memories

Really enjoyed our stay in this home! We gathered for our annual family vacation and made great memories playing in the lake, jumping off the famous rock, tubing in nearby Helen Ga. This home is fully supplied with everything you need! Sandra is the best host ever and answered all my questions very quickly. Beds are very comfortable and rooms dark for those who want to sleep in.
