Gone to the Beach is located only five minutes walk from Reeds Bay with it's white sandy beach and crystal clear water. The property is located in a quiet secure community of 4 apartments on a ridge offering breath taking views of the West Coast and Caribbean Sea. The apartment has two bedrooms one with queen sized bed the other has two single beds both with air conditioning and ceiling fans and large wardrobes. The lounge and kitchen are well equipped with wide screen TV, DVD player and wireless Broadband internet connection, there is also a Bose Bluetooth Connection Speaker. The kitchen has all modern amenities including microwave, dishwasher, blender, slow cooker, air fryer and washing machine. All windows have bug screens and are secure including the front door.

The covered Deck area will provide you with a plunge pool (sole use) dining area and sun loungers overlooking the landscape gardens, a perfect environment for relaxation and enjoyment.

A Government imposed Levy will need to be paid this is based on Bds$8.75 per night
for 2 persons, this will be collected by my Property Manager and a receipt given.

The apartment was just the perfect size for my daughter and me. There is air conditioning in all rooms which was a plus. The outdoor space is amazing and we spent a lot of time in the plunge pool. Maria was communicative and responsive to all questions and requests. I would stay here again.

A wonderful stay

Lovely property exactly as described and as the photos show. Very comfortable with a great firm bed and very well equipped kitchen. The plunge pool was great and the beach at Reeds Bay was gorgeous. Communications with Maria was brilliant and check in and out were incredibly straightforward. Loved our 3wks here

Fabulous stay

We had a fantastic 9 days in this gorgeous well equipped apartment in St James. Anything you could possibly need is available and the location is perfect. Hiring a car is essential and the brilliant Maria is always on hand to help and advise. Kimberly does a great job of keeping the place looking perfect and is such a lovely lady. We will certainly return here and would highly recommend.

Stunning property. Felt like a home and not a rental property. Location was perfect for us as we love the local thunder bay beach and with the car, it sits in the centre of our special towns of holetown and speightstown . Already booked for next Christmas

Great property. No complaints whatsoever. Close to the beach . Property was clean and fully air conditioned with cable tv ,not that we watched any . Maria was there to meet us and very helpful. Would have no hesitation to recommend this property.

Great location.Quiet,safe with lovely sea views.Everything immaculate and working as designed.We were happy to enjoy the apartment and used a taxi for a couple of trips.Probably best to hire a car. Check in and departure very efficient with friendly manager

15min walk from the beach means you have an amazing view from the property! The owner provides a real home awayfrom home with everything you need plus a on hand local property manager who can answer all your queries and help you enjoy your stay. Great stay

Beautiful beach a 10 minute walk from a perfect, calm and cozy apartment. Plenty of outdoor living space and easy to catch a ride to wherever you'd need to go. Not for those who have limited mobility, but for our group it was perfect.

Absolutely beautiful. Very clean ,exactly as described did not disappointed . The manger was very helpful with recommendations for things to do . Absolutely everything you would need is in this apartment even an airfryer. Would definitely return .

What a gem of a place

This precious little getaway is tucked away in a village that creates a most relaxing atmosphere. The view is picture perrrrrfect, a coconut tree up front and the ocean in the background, completely private from all angles. The manager Marie is a phenomenal and scrupulous host, down to every little detail about cuisine, beaches, transportation, and she is incredibly responsive! By the way, if interested in having a private chef deliver personally-tailored meals to you then ask about Kate's Corner catering service, her food was so good and allergy-aligned it made us wanna cry in happiness!

Excellent Location - Lovely Property

This property is exactly as shown and described. We spent 3 weeks here and it was very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The terrace is a great place and we spent most of time there when we weren’t out. The check-in process was a breeze and thereafter property manager, Maria, reached out to ensure there were no issues or questions and made recommendations for live music venues. Kimberly, the housekeeper, was a delight and did an excellent job on her twice weekly cleanings. The landscape staff were very respectful of our quiet and told us when and how long they would be running a trimmer. The location is great for excellent restaurants, beaches and even trips to the south and east coast. Would highly recommend a car rental. We would rent this property again without hesitation.

This beautiful apartment was great. What you read and what you see in the add is what you get. Perfect for our vacation

Property was clean and accurately described and Pat responded promptly to all our queries. Fernanda, the property manager, was welcoming and the referral to Lloyd for aeroport pickup and car rental was most helpful. The information sheet with email and telephone numbers was useful. Kimberly checked on our housekeeping needs and provided clean towels. The location was perfect for us, and the internet speed was good for our son who was there on business. A perfect vacation for us.

Lovely winter break

We've spent 10 days at Pat's appartment last January and it was perfect to break with coldness of Europe. Size of the appartment was good for my 3 yo son, my husband and I. And the location (about in the middle of the west coast, with a peaceful neighborhood) was ideal to visit all the Island easily. Pat was very helpful to organize our arrival (including airport transfer and some shopphing to start), car rental etc. We clearly recommand it and will definitly miss the view and the colibri visiting the garden every morning...

Family Vacation

The property is clean and area quiet. Some initial issues with the wifi access, but were soon rectify. Transportation is a must and Lloyd was very helpful in connecting us with airport pick up, to accommodate additional luggage. The housekeeper Kimberly was extremely friendly and nice and acted as a liasion when Fernada was ill. There is little or no activity in the immediate surrounding neighborhood, however, be mindful of vehicles speeding up and down the main road when exiting the property. Overall, I would visit this property again and recommend it to others.

Great location.

Having had a return visit of 5 weeks stay at Gone to the Beach, we still feel it’s a good area to be in with easy access to the rest of the island. A very well equipped apartment for those who like to self cater. We did have a problem with the plunge pool which took a fair while to sort but once fixed all was well. Kimberly the house keeper is a delight. Nothing is too much trouble and she also recommends some very good places to eat out. I felt the manager of the property let the side and didn’t keep one up to date with what was going on. Barbados is a beautiful island with lots to offer.

What A View!

We visited West Look from 15th to 22nd November 2024. The process of booking, checking in and checking out was very easy. I was contacted by the Villa Manager Maria before the trip began. She was very knowledgeable and was able to arrange transport from and to the airport for us. We arrived in the evening and received a warm welcome from her as she was there to greet us in person. She was always on the other end of the phone should we need it. The villa itself was beautiful. Small but perfect and it was just what we needed! It had all of the essentials to make our stay comfortable. It was like being at home but in the Caribbean. The location is ideal to travel around to see the island and the bonus part is that it's about 10 mins walk to the beach. When we were not out and about the time at the villa was very enjoyable as we had the plunge pool, beautiful gardens and scenery to relax in. We are looking forward to our next stay at Gone to the Beach

Perfect Honeymoon

It was a wonderful stay 😍 The communication with Pat in advance was great and there was even a little surprise from her for the wedding. We were so pleased 🥰 And thanks to her tip we had the perfect wedding in Barbados. You will find everything you need in the flat, Kimberly cleaned to perfection several times a week. The best thing is the terrace, the most beautiful I have ever had. The view, the pool, everything just perfect ❤️ The only suggestion for improvement: Curtains on the left side would be great. So you are protected from the eyes of the neighbours 😉 Unfortunately, the communication with Fernanda was not so great. But we still got along fine. We will definitely come back!

Blissful relaxation on a beautiful island

Pat provided information on a local taxi firm (with Lloyd) who collected us from the airport and brought us straight to the property where we met the housekeeper, Maria. Maria had prepared for our arrival and after a long journey having the air con running and cool drinks in the fridge was exactly what we needed. Maria lived locally, and provided us with options for various outings that may be of interest and also referrals for places to eat and go to for drinks. We followed up on most of these (with Little Bristol in Speightstown the highlight). Kimberley, who came in a couple of times a week to change the beds and replace towels, was another bright point. She provided additional local insight and recommended Pat's Plaice at Oistins for the fried fish. All of the above made the holiday perfect. But this doesn't include consideration of the apartment. We had more than enough space to relax in and spent a couple of days just relaxing on sunbeds in the garden and dipping into the plunge pool when it became too hot. It was literally home from home but with sunshine every day!
