It's ok

I didn't feel paying £90 was very fair when we didn't have the full option of having breakfast. The room was a good size, but could of been a lot cleaner, found glass on the floor. The rooms do need updating. Owners seemed friendly, didn't see to much of them throughout the stay. The location is very good, but is next to a busy road. Had no problems with parking and even after leaving the hotel was able to use the other car park until i left later that evening.

As u walked in there was a musty smell that was horrid and extended into our room very old fashioned desperately needs and update needs new beds for sure there was exposed wires from plastic casing also got small electric shocks from shower when adjusting the shower head which hurt the next morning we got up dressed ( without showering) early and left without even staying for breakfast which we paid for would so NOT recommend this B&B especially room 4

Good for the price

The Saxonia is a cheap and convenient b+b that doesn't pretend to be anything else. My room was clean, comfortable and a decent size (apart from the shower). Ample parking at the front helps too.

The thing that let our stay down was our room downstairs next to the kitchen with no windows and no fire exit The staff were very friendly and cooked a lovely breakfast .

A basic guesthouse, staff were very helpful and friendly, my only complaint would be no change of towels during our stay but to be honest I'm not sure if we had to ask. Breakfast is excellent 😊😊

Easy walk to beach with lovely, helpful staff. Do anything to make your stay great! Only downside is mattresses could do with being replaced as very squeaky and have dips in from previous guests

Low expectations for low cost

Pretty basic, functioning B&B. The room is a tad outdated and tired, while breakfast isn't served until 8.30am so don't factor that in if you are planning on being out and about before then. It wasn't expensive so if you are on a tight budget it may be worth considering but you do get what you pay for.

Clean, conviently situated and good breakfast .

Stayed overnight for the carnival and as well as tea/coffee provided we had drinking chocolate and cup a soups. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff and good breakfast for a very good price
