I tried to contact the host and they never got back to me. Another downfall is the host is not available for any issues. Nice place but listing needs to be updated if they are not providing linens. Parents 60th Anniversary Trip

"We wanted to celebrate our parents 60th anniversary by getting away from distractions. When we arrived the place was perfect! We had beautiful weather so we were able to enjoy the outdoor space. The layout of the home was perfect for 3 couples and the kitchen was well stocked so that we could prepare meals there. If wildlife is something you want to see - you will not be disappointed. There were deer and elk out front every day. The owners were in contact letting us know that they were close by if we needed anything at all. They were wonderful to work with. We will be back and have friends that are eager to check this property out. You cant go wrong staying here ! Thanks Jeffrey & Brooke for the opportunity to make these wonderful memories with our parents! "

"This property couldn't get much better in terms of value, location, amenities, and kid friendliness.The creek is grogeous, the neighbors are wonderful, and the drive to Sinnemahoning Park is short and scenic. Not to mention you're less than a 10 minute drive from two very nice places to grab lunch or dinner. We'll be back!"

"This place is very relaxing, cozy and clean. Spent some time fishing and sitting on the porch playing cards and watching the dove that has a nest on the porch was hoping the baby dove would start flying before we left but didn't happen. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend. "

Cozy Cabin Boarding Winslow Hill Elk Viewing Area!

The Coop is Excellent

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Coop and can not wait to return!! The Coop is a quaint, cozy, beautiful cabin with a great location. The woodwork throughout the cabin is beautiful, as well as the impeccable cleanliness and upkeep of the cabin. The cabin has everything you need inside and out and then some. The gift shop, Bert's Roost, is also beautiful and has a lot of great items. Betty is so sweet and we enjoyed chatting with her while shopping.During our stay we enjoyed viewing the Elk (saw 30, including 1 Bull and 2 Babies) - Majority at Winslow, but also at Hicks and behind Benezette General Store (Station Rd), during sunrise & sunset. We also made our way to Gray Hill Rd, Elk Visitor Center, Woodring Farm and Dents Run viewing areas, but no success. Outside of the Elk, we saw many deer, turkeys and 2 porcupines.Thank you Dan (and Betty) for the wonderful hospitality and the beautiful cabin. We will definitely be back and looking forward to our next stay!"

Spacious and Cozy

"This cabin is easily the best one I've stayed in. Nice backyard, roomy bathroom and very comfy furniture. Also a nice spacious backyard complete with a firepit and a firewood shed. Only real downside is that there's no cell reception, but it does have WiFi to compensate. I'd recommend anyone to stay here. "

"Beautiful cabin inside and out. Very clean. We booked for two nights and unfortunately had to leave after staying only one night as my 7 year old got sick. We weren't even there for 24 hours and unfortunately arent able to be refunded for our second night as there is a no refund policy. Totally sucks. Otherwise highly recommend!"
