We ran across this listing when we were looking for a place inn the Adirondacks where we could stay along with our two dogs, and thought we'd give it a try, since it was one of the few we found that would take 2 dogs. It turned out to be a great place to stay, both for us and our dogs, since we didn't have to worry about them running into other people there. They have some trails right on the property that we could take the dogs on, and while the accommodations weren't large (it's a camping trailer with an enclosure built around it), but there was plenty of room for the two of us and our dogs. The host, Stefanie, was very gracious and accommodating, also, and it was handy for several hikes we took in that area. We'd definitely recommend it, even if you don't have dogs, and especially if you do.
Ok maybe I misunderstood the post but pee in one toilet and poop in an outhouse was not my idea of the 21st century. Talk of the Adirondacks from where I was at all I saw were woods!! I managed but will never rent this property again!! The cost was very nice no problem there!!
