A spacious deck provides a picturesque view of the lake and boasts 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen, all recently remodeled. Accommodating up to 6 people, the cabin features a private boat ramp, a sizable dock, individual boat slips, and designated parking for boats/jet ski trailers. Enjoy the proximity to a waterfront picnic area and expansive grassy picnic spots. Conveniently located near the marina, just outside the country club, we are also in close proximity to restaurants, a gourmet grocery store with a wine shop and deli, making your stay both comfortable and enjoyable.

To keep out the wildlife, bugs and critters, please remember to close doors and windows that don’t have screens on them. Don’t leave food out or crumbs on the counters, tables, furniture or beds to help keep those unwanted pests out. The home and property is treated regularly, seeing dead bugs doesn’t mean there is an infestation but that the treatment is working.

Beautiful vacation

We loved the deck facing the lake. Having a boat launch and boat slip was priceless!!! Such a very short walk to our boat. Enjoyed the cute cabin it felt very homey we were there for 8 days and we’re not ready for it to end.

Great little place to stay near the Lake and Restaurants

Nice Cabin, worked perfect for what we needed. Parking was a little difficult and not clear, check in was confusing-hard to find in the dark, TV's were all unplugged- took a bit to figure that out, floors were dirty (black feet all weekend), towels/chairs for the beach would be a nice addition but we brought our own luckily. All in all, would stay here again. Great location, close to restaurants, coffee shop and store. Thanks!

Great location

The cabin has a great location with a convenience mart, restaurant, and gift shop within easy walking distance. Amenities were good. Wish the listing had a wide angle shot to show the size of the cabin. All 6 of us thought it was going to be bigger so the pictures should include a picture from the living room showing the entrances to the two rooms for size reference. Had a broken light bulb and Clint came to fix it so that was nice and he kept the line of communication open. Overall had a good stay at this cozy cabin.

Surprise arrival- owner was there! Sounds like the VRBO interface may not notify properly or something, since it’s happened before per reviews. But very nice guy, very easy to sort out. Place is very close to a restaurant and store, plus a nice ‘collectibles’ and Knick knack store. Live music at the restaurant Friday night! Done by 10 tho. Couldn’t ask for closer lake access, tho this particular unit is not at all waterfront so check which one you reserve if that’s your preference. We just grabbed the only one available sort of late notice, and we were still very happy with proximity to lake.

Great Cabin, Great Location

This cabin was the perfect place for our family. The kids loved their room with bunk beds and their own bathroom. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The deck overlooked the lake. We loved that the dock was so close and easy for us to park the boat and do some evening swimming. This cabin is right across the street from the market/coffee/ice cream shop which was very convenient. Would definitely stay again.

Our first trip to Lake Almanor. The property was easy to find and matched our expectations. Beautiful view from the deck. We barbequed every night and enjoyed the outdoor patio. This property worked great - we took out boat and could launch and dock it at the property. We had a question and the owner's responded quickly and were very helpful. We would definitely recommend staying at this lakeside cabin.

This is a gem - boat dock and slip at convenient access - one of the best features. This unit upstairs is roomy, clean and modern updated in "cabin decor" including big screen TV's. The whole property is easy access / walking distance to the upscale market and restaurants. Love the deck too as you can see your boat and the lake. Property managers were super nice too. Can't wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay at this rental. It is perfect for a big family sleeping 6 or 7, if you use the couch (which we did) It was kind of odd the “master” had bunk beds in the same room while the guest room which my husband and I used since all the kids were in the room with the most beds were stuck with a tiny shower and smaller bed. The size of the room being the issue but still kinda crazy. We did have a couple questions and needed help with a few things and the property manager was amazing and very helpful and expedient in his actions.

Stunning! Pride of ownership is evident. Clean and updated Lakeview cabin with all the amenities. Right on the water and across from a market if you forget anything. With 3 small children this was a perfect fit. Ryan and Clelie were very accommodating and helpful in answering any questions we had and even stocked us up with board games to play! We didn't get the snow we were looking forward to but would love to stay again in the summer months. Awesome stay!

Great Cabin with great ammenities

We stayed in this cabin for several years with the old owners. However, in the off season between 2013 and the 2014 season, the new owners really went to town on this unit and really made it nice. From redoing the kitchen with all new appliances (the old ones were really scary), to adding a new bathroom in the master, and nice tile floors, they really have done a wonderful job. Our family has been going to Lake Almanor for 40 years now, and this is one of the best locations on the lake. It is in a large harbor, so the boats on the private dock are protected from the wind that comes up every now and then. The property has it's own launch ramp, and a nice lawn area with picnic tables for large family gatherings. After our old resort closed several years ago, we made the move here and we absolutley love the location. It is great for all ages.

They have tile steps coming out of the bathroom without any notice, and no rug to step on. I slipped and fell and hurt myself badly. It ruined the trip. I will NEVER return to this property. I will tell others to avoid it. And I will be sending my hospital bills to the owner.

Lake getaway

Many items needed upgrading. Tiny shower and tub. Old kitchen utensils and did not appear clean. Strange request for us to clean and put back all kitchen ware. Usually you just need to clean and start dishwasher. Gives me the impression that no one cleans this place in between guests. Also there’s no noise barrier so you hear everything from unit below. The guest downstairs was also very rude complaining of hearing our footsteps even though we always take our shoes off when entering a place.

Very relaxing

The cabin is in a beautiful setting in the trees right next to the lake. This is the first time we have traveled with our dog and it worked out great. The property owner was very helpful and everyone staying there was considerate and quiet.
