"Lovely stay in Hermanus. It had a very sophisticated charm to it without being pretentious. The lobby was beautiful and had reading rooms with a grand staircase.lively pool area with gardens. Not a big hotel but would summarize as a “decent size boutique” hotel. The staff were all very polite and welcoming. Security was always there with a gate to access the grounds. 8 minute walk to the main center but was right across the street from a lovely Oceanside restaurant and tide pool. Highly recommend everything about this property. "

"The breakfast was just what we needed. Stephan was a friendly and enjoyable host at Breakfast. Our hostess (sorry I have forgotten her name) was wonderful. My partner had being having a digestion issue prior to our arrival, and our hostess generously provided some over the counter medication which was very helpful. The property location is close to the center with many dining options. The scenery in the area is stunning. Highly recommend staying at The Penguino. "

"Great size rooms. We had a sea view which was great with a big balcony. Useful to have kitchen facilities and bedroom and en suite were modern. Not a major problem as we only stayed 2 nights but the wardroom shelves couldn’t be used as the bed was in the way of the wardrobe doors opening. Reception staff really friendly and helpful. No food is available although there are kitchens in the rooms and restaurants nearby "

"We had a lovely stay at The Marine. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and the room and lounge were beautifully decorated. Also, it is conveniently located on the cliff path and near the shop, which was perfect. We highly recommend!"

"The whole team at 7on Marine was brilliant right from the start - so helpful and friendly. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the sea and we were able to see whales from there on our second day. Just across the road was the path along the cliff which made for a great scenic walk. Loved it and will stay longer next time. "
