"Staff was very friendly & welcoming! Upon checkout while eating a quick bite I realized I forgot some stuff in the fridge back in the room, asked if I could get them & they went & got it for me so I could eat. Will definitely stay here again."

"Good hotel for a quick stop. Right near the highway, but still only about a 15 minute walk to downtown Bellingham. The hotel is dated, nothing super luxurious, but it's clean and safe. Free breakfast is nice. Staff is friendly, price is good. I've stayed here twice, would recommend for an affordable hotel in Bellingham "

"Nice hotel, convenient location. A fair amount of open air drug use and associated activities on the nearby sidewalk. It’s not the fault of the hotel and they have security. You will notice it while walking to meals. "

"The la Quinta in Bellingham was a wonderful respite at the end of a very long drive. We arrived late and had no problems with checking in or rooms and there were several of us. We tested the pool and hot tub the next day and were very pleased. The hot tub, was actually hot and comfortable. They are usually barely warm. If I am back in town, I shall put this hotel at the top of my list."
