Quiet, clean and comfortable

A lovely set of cabins and perfect for our kayaking weekend. Clean and comfortable and fabulous views. I loved the remote feel and it is so quiet here.

the place is great just don't expect too much. great for the price and affordable for family who just want to unwind. we went down the wheeny creek with 4wd and had some kayaking or boating. some walking tracks are abit overgrown. doesn't have microwave. nonetheless, will definitely come back

The property is on very tranquil and restful bushlands. Great place to unwind and unplug. There is also a creek with opportunities to go canoeing courtesy of the hosts. It does require a 4WD to get down there or reasonably fit bodies as it's a steep walk down and steeper back or feels like it !! Pack your bags, your favourite book, snacks, drinks and kick back !

We only stayed the 1 night but would love to head back and explore. The outdoor areas are vast, great for the kids to run around and absolutely stunning view over the creek from a really comfortable viewing deck which we sat with a beer and watched the sunset. We briefly walked down to the creek and used the properties kayaks which we loved. We had a fire next to the cottage and toasted marshmallows such fun. The cottages are comfortable with everything you need and indoor fire to keep nice and toasty, I took heated blankets and oodies for the kids but didn’t need any of them. Great weekend getaway. Excellent communication and relaxed checkout. Thanks

Cottages set amongst stunning bush with plenty of bird life. The creek is beautiful for swimming or relaxing canoeing. The environment is just perfect for the bush walking trails. I wanted to stay here much much longer!!

We loved coming here and being in the middle of the bush. It’s an eco-friendly stay so it doesn’t have all the creature comforts of a 5 star hotel but that’s not what we were looking for. Comfortable accommodation with a great walk into a valley that included seeing deer, horses and also a short canoe trip. It would be better in the cooler months and it would be great with a fire and kids. The family hosting us were fantastic and made us feel welcome. Would definitely go back!

Great for quick, rustic getaway from Sydney. Lovely do-able bush walks for kids and fun games shed. Very cold night/morning & hard to keep the fire going. Overpriced for what it is but we had a great weekend.

Gorgeous location, you’re really away from it all. Owners are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The cottage is cute and comfortable but no microwave or dishwasher. Our dogs had an amazing time as they were allowed to roam the property freely. The last 2.5 km to the cottage is on an unsealed road. We have a small Ford Fiesta and we just made it down. You almost need a 4 WD....

Great place for a getaway. What the description of the place doesn't mention is the access road to the property is unsealed and quite bumpy, so probably not good if you have a small hatchback. Also there was no microwave in the cabin so it was quite inconvenient to have to warm or cook things on the however great location for peace, access to lots of walking tracks on the property and the owners dog is very friendly.

We loved our short stay here. The owners were lovely and made us feel welcome. We spent our time in the canoe, swimming in the river, laying under the trees and doing a bushwalk - the exact escape from the city that we were looking for.

Delightful cottages far from everything.

Beautiful bush surrounds and all the little extras thought of. Lovely deck and outdoor setting to soak in bush. Friendly dog for an extra friend for the children. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to have an Aussie bush experience far from the crowds of Sydney but only a stone's throw away.
